Abstract

감광체드럼(24)를 구비한 드럼유니트(12)와, 토너가 수용된 현상하우징(30) 및 현상하우징 내에 배설된 현상롤러(32)를 갖는 현상기(16)과, 현상기(16)을 드럼 유니트(12)에 대하여 요동이 자유롭게 지지하는 지지축(14)을 구비한 프로세스 유니트(2).
프린터(4)에 분리가 자유롭게 장착되는 상기의 프로세스 유니트(2)는, 현상기(16)과 드럼유니트(12)의 사이에 개재되고, 현상롤러(32)가 감광체드럼(24)를 향하는 방향으로 힘을 가하도록 현상기(16)과 지지축(14)의 둘레에 회전 모멘트를 부여하는 스프링을 포함하고 있다.
그리고, 상기의 현상기(16)에는 현상롤러 (32)에는 구동력을 전달하는 입력기어(64)가 구비되어 있으며, 프린터(4)에는 입력기어(64)를 구동하는 출력기어(60)이 구비되어 있다.
출력기어(60)의 입력기어(64)에 대한 구동압력각의 방향 또는 그 방향과 정 반대의 방향은 지지축(14)로 향하게 한다.

Claims (1)

  1. 화상생성장치에 분리가 자유롭게 장착되는 프로세스 유니트로서, 정전잠상이 형성되는 감광체드럼(24)를 구비한 드럼유니트(12)와, 현상제가 수용된 현상하우징(30) 및 현상하우징(30) 내에 배치되어 감광체드럼(24)에 현상제를 공급하는 현상롤러(32)를 갖는 현상기(16)과, 현상기(16)을 상기 드럼유니트(12)에 대하여 요동이 자유롭게 지지하는 지지축수단(14)를 구비한 프로세스 유니트에 있어서, 상기 현상기(16)과 드럼유니트(12)의 사이에 개재되어 상기의 현상롤러(32)가 감광체드럼(24)에 향하는 방향으로 힘을 가해지도록 상기의 현상기(16)에 지지축수단(14)에 회전모멘트를 부여하는 스프링수단(40)을 포함하고, 상기 현상기(16)에는 그 현상롤러(32)에 구동력을 전달하는 입력기어(64)가 구비되며, 상기한 화상생성장치에는 상기 입력기어(64)에 구동력을 전달하는 출력기어(60)이 구비되고, 상기 출력기어(60)의 입력기어(64)에 대한 구동압력각의 방향 또는 그 방향과 정반대되는 방향은 상기한 지지축수단(14)에 향하게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프로세스 유니트.
