Abstract

[목적]
본 발명은 하드디스크(Hard Disk)등을 구동시키는 드라이브시스템(Drive System)에 있어서, 상기 디스크 구동용 스핀들 모터(Spindle Motor)내로 이물질이 유입되는 것을 방지하고, 또 스핀들 모터의 베어링내에 충전시킨 구리스(Grease)등의 윤활유가 비산되어 상기 스핀들 모터를 오염시키는 것을 방지할 수 있도록 한 디스크 드라이브용 스핀들 모터에 관한 것이다.
[구성]
본 발명은 하우징(1)의 축(2)에 스테이터 코어(6)가 설치되고 상기 축(2)의 상, 하에는 베어링(3)를 설치하며 이 베어링(3)에는 내주면에 마그네트(5)가 설치된 허브(4)를 설치하고 이 허브(4)상에 디스크를 장착하여 디스크에 기록을 입력시키거나 재생하도록 된 디스크 드라이브용 스핀들 모터에 있어서, 상기 축(2)에는 횡 방향의 공기유입구(8)를 형성하고 이 공기유입구(8)와 직교하는 축(2)의 중심부에는 공기흐름공(9)을 형성시키며, 상기 허브(4)상부의 중심방향으로는 나선 실링부(10)를 설치하고 이 나선 실링부(10)의 선단부(11) 저면에는 나선부(12)를 형성하여 스파이럴 작용으로 이물질의 유입과 베어링(3)의 윤활유 비산이 방지되도록 구성된 것이다.

Claims (2)

  1. 하우징(1)의 축(2)에 스테이터 코어(6)가 설치되고 상기 축(2)의 상, 하에는 베어링(3)을 설치하며 이 베어링(3)에는 내주면에 마그네트(5)가 설치된 허브(4)를 설치하고 이 허브(4)상에 디스크를 장착하여 디스크에 기록을 입력시키거나 재생하도록 된 디스크 드라이브용 스핀들 모터에 있어서, 상기 축(2)에는 횡 방향의 공기유입구(8)를 형성하고 이 공기유입구(8)와 직교하는 축(2)의 중심부에는 공기흐름과(8)을 형성시키며, 상기 허브(4)상부의 중심 방향으로는 나선실링부(10)를 설치하고 이 나선 실링부(10)의 선단부(11)저면에는 나선부(12)를 형성하여 스파이럴 작용으로 이물질의 유입과 베어링(3)의 윤활유 비산이 방지되도록 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 디스크 드라이브용 스핀들 모터
  2. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 나선부(12)의 반경은 R = A × E × P(θ×tan α), α= 접선각도의 조건을 갖도록 구성함을 특징으로 하는 디스크 드라이브용 스핀들 모터.
