Abstract

본 발명은 자기헤드 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 헤드의 자계 손실을 감소시키기 위하여 테이프와 접촉되는 자기헤드의 헤드 갭(Gap)부위로부터 Depth구(Window : 이하 창이라 한다)부위까지만 헤드 갭(Gap)을 형성하고 하부의 갭을 형성시키지 않으므로서 리드/라이트(Read/Write)특성을 향상시킬 수 있도록 한 자기헤드에 관한 것이다.
[구성]
본 발명은 제1코어(1)와 제2코어(2)사이에 갭막(3)을 형성하는 자기헤드에 있어서, 기판(4)상에 비자성 초기막(5)을 형성하고 이에 센더스트막(6)을 형성하여 이의 일면에 SiO2의 갭막(7)을 형성하여 이들을 상기 제1코어(1)와 제2코어(2)사이에 접착 설치하고, 상기 갭막(7)은 자기헤드 코어의 미디어 접촉부인 상부에만 형성되도록 하며 그 하부는 마스킹하여 갭막을 삭제하도록 구성된 것이다.

Claims (1)

  1. 제1코어(1)와 제2코어(2)사이에 갭막(3)을 형성하는 자기헤드에 있어서, 기관(4)상에 비자성 초기막(5)을 형성하고 이에 센더스트막(6)을 형성하여 이의 일면에 SiO2의 갭막(7)을 형성하여 이들을 상기 제1코어(1)와 제2코어(2)사이에 접착 설치하고, 상기 갭막(7)은 자기헤드 코어의 미디어 접촉부인 상부에만 형성되도록 하며 그 하부는 마스킹하여 갭막을 삭제하도록 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 자기헤드.
