Abstract

1. 청구범위에 기재된 발명이 속한 기술분야
본 발명은 점성유체를 시어(shear)에 의해 발열시키고 워터재킷(WJ)내를 순환하는 순환수에 열교환하여 난방열원에 이용하는 비스커스히터에 관한 것이다.
2. 발명이 해결하려고 하는 기술적 과제
어느 정도의 발열량은 확보하면서, 차량용엔진 측방향의 탑재공간에 탑재가능한 비스커스히터를 제공한다.
3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지
회전자(15)로써, 구동축(14)의 축심으로써 반경R보다 축길이 1의 긴 원통형의 외주면이 있는 것을 채용하고, 워터재킷(WJ)를 회전자(15)의 외주측에만 형성한다.
4. 발명의 중요한 용도
차량의 난방장치용 비스커스히터

Claims (5)

  1. 내부에 발열실(7) 및 그 발영실(7)에 인접하여 순환수를 순환시키는 워터재킷(WJ)을 형성하는 하우징과 그 하우징에 축받이장치(12), (13)를 통해서 회전하도록 지지된 구동축(14)과 발열실(7)내에서 구동축(14) 에 의해 회전하도록 설치된 회전자(15)를 갖추고, 발열실(7)의 벽면과 회전자(15)의 외부면과의 간극에 점성유체가 넣어져, 회전자(15)의 회전운동에 의해 점성유체가 발열되는 비스커스히터에 있어서, 상기한 회전자(15)는 상기한 구동축(14)의 축심으로부터 반경(R)보다 축길이(l)인 긴 원통형의 외주면을 이루고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 비스커스이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 워터재킷(WJ) 이 회전자(15) 의 외주측에만 형성되어있는 것을 특징으로 하는 비스커스히터.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 워터재킷(WJ) 은 나선형으로 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 비스커스히터.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 워터재킷(WJ) 은 순환수가 들어오는 입수구(8) 와 그 순환수를 내보내는 출수구(9) 를 갖추고, 그 입수구(8) 및 그 출수구(9) 는 동일 평면에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 비스커스히터.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 회전자(15) 는 가운데가 비었는 형상으로 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 비스커스히터.
