Abstract

본 발명은 환경 부식 내성이 있는 코팅에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 코팅은 하기 (a) 및 (b)성분을 포함하는 수성 경화성 조성물로부터 유도된다 : (a) 제1아크릴 중합체와 제2아크릴 중합체와의 반응 생성물을 포함하는 카르바메이트-작용성 그라프트(grafted) 아크릴 중합체로서, 상기 제1아크릴 중합체와 제2아크릴 중합체중 하나 이상은 상기 그라프트 아크릴 중합체에 수(水)-분산성을 제공하는 기를 가지며, 상기 제1아크릴 중합체와 제2아크릴 중합체중 하나 이상은 카르바메이트 작용기를 가지는 카르바메이트-작용성 그라프트 아크릴 중합체 ; 및 (b) 상기 카르바메이트 작용기와의 반응성이 있다는 다수의 작용기를 가진 화합물.

Claims (19)

  1. (a) (i) 작용기(I)를 가진 제1아크릴 중합체와, (ii) 상기 제1아크릴 중합체의 작용기(I)에 대해 반응성인 작용기(II)를 가진 제2아크릴 중합체와의 반응 생성물을 포함하는 카르바메이트-작용성 그라프트 아크릴 중합체로서, 상기 제1 및 제2아크릴 중합체중 하나 또는 2가지 모두가 상기 그라프트 아크릴 중합체에 수(水)-분산성을 제공하는 기를 갖고, 상기 제1 및 제2아크릴 중합체중 하나 또는 2가지 모두가 카르바메이트 작용기를 갖는 카르바메이트-작용성 그라프트 아크릴 중합체 및 (b) 상기 카르바메이트 작용기와의 반응성이 있는 다수의 작용기를 가진 화합물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 경화성 코팅 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 그라프트 아크릴 중합체에 수-분산성을 제공하는 기가 음이온성 또는 비이온성 기인 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 그라프트 아크릴 중합체에 수-분산성을 제공하는 기가 카르복실산 기인 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 그라프트 아크릴 중합체에 수-분산성을 제공하는 기가 상기 제2아크릴 중합체상에 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 작용기(I)가 에폭시 작용기이고, 상기 작용기(II) 및 상기 수-분산성을 제공하는 기는 둘다 카르복실산 기인 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 그라프트 아크릴 중합체에 수-분산성을 제공하는 기가 상기 제1 및 제2아크릴 중합체상에 둘다 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물.
  7. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 카르바메이트 작용기가 화학식-L-O-C(=O)-NHR로 표시되는 구조를 포함하며, 이때 L은 가의 연결기를 나타내고, R은 H, 알킬, 또는 시클로알킬을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, R이 수소원자, C1-6알킬, 또는 고리 탄소원자가 6개인 시클로 알킬인 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, L이 화학식 -COO-L′-로 표시되며, 이때 L′는 2가의 연결기인 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물.
  10. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 성분(b)가 실록산, 보호된 이 소시아네이트, 알콕시, 및 메틸을 작용기로 이루어진 군중에서 선택된 작용기를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물.
  11. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 성분(b)가 아미노플라스트 수지인 것을 특징으로 하는 경화성 코팅 조성물.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 아미노플라스트 수지가 멜라민 포름알데히드 수지인 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물.
  13. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 카르바메이트-작용성 그라프트아크릴 중합체가 상기 제1아크릴 중합체의 존재하에서 상기 제2아크릴 중합체를 중합반응시키는 것을 포함하는 방법에 의해 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물.
  14. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 정의한 수성 경화성 코팅 조성물로부터 유도된 상도층(topcoat) 코팅.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, 착색+투명층 복합 코팅인 상도층 코팅.
  16. 착색된 코팅 조성물을 기재에 도포하는 단계, 상기 착색된 코팅 조성물상에 수성투명 코팅 조성물을 도포하는 단계, 및 상기 복합 코팅을 경화시키는 단계를 포함하여 기재상에 환경 부식 내성이 있는 코팅을 생성시키는 방법으로서, 상기 수성 투명 코팅 조성물이 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에서 정의한 경화성 코팅 조성물인 방법.
  17. 제16항에 있어서, 상기 수-분산성을 제공하는 기가 상기 제2아크릴 중합체상에 존재하며, 상기 카르바메이트 작용기는 상기 제1 및 제2아크릴 중합체상에 둘다 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  18. 제16항에 있어서, 상기 수-분산성을 제공하는 기가 상기 제1아크릴 중합체상에 존재하며, 상기 카르바메이트 작용기는 상기 제2아크릴 중합체상에 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  19. 제1항 내지 제5항중 어느 한 항에서 정의한 코팅 조성물로부터 형성된 경화된 코팅을 가진 코팅된 기재.
