Abstract

본 발명은 저수준의 휘발성 유기 화합물(VOC)을 갖는 수성 코팅 조성물 및 우수한 내구성 및 저항성을 갖는 코팅물 제조에 관한 것이다. 상기 코팅 조성물은 아세토아세테이트 작용성 중합체 및 2가 금속 이온을 함유한다.
본 발명에 의한 코팅 조성물은 잉크, 광택제 및 인성 및 내성 코팅을 필요로 하는 코팅 조성물에 특히 유용한 것이다. 상기 코팅 조성물은 바닥재, 벽, 목재, 금속, 플라스틱, 석재 제지, 피혁 및 콘크리트와 같은 여러 가지 기질에 이용가능하다.

Claims (10)

  1. a) 중합유니트로서 아세트아세테이트-작용성 단량체를 0.5∼100중량% 포함하며, 유리전이온도가 -20∼150℃범위인 중합체; 및 b) 2가 금속이온: 을 포함하며, 상기 아세토아세테이트-작용성 단량체 대 2가 금속이온의 몰비는 20 : 1∼2 : 1이며, 실질적으로 술포폴리에스테르를 함유하지 않으며, 아민-작용성 실란을 실질적으로 함유하지 않는, 코팅조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 2가 금속 이온은 알카리 토 금속 이온 및 이들의 결합물로부터 선택됨을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중합체는 나아가 중합된 유니트로서 산-작용성 단량체 3∼50%를 함유하며; 또한 2가 금속 이온에 대한 상기 아세토아세테이트-작용성 단량체의 몰과 산-작용성 단량체의 몰의 총몰비는 20 : 1∼2 : 1임을 특징으로 하는 코팅조성물.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중합체는 실질적으로 산-작용성 단량체를 함유하지 않음을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물.
  5. a) 1) 중합유니트로서 아세토아세테이트-작용성 단량체 0.5∼100중량%를 포함하며, 유리전이온도가 -20∼150℃범위인 중합체; 및 2) 2가 금속이온; 을 아세토아세테이트-작용성 단량체 대 2가 금속이온의 몰비가 20 : 1∼2 : 1이 되도록 그리고 실질적으로 술포폴리에스테르를 함유하지 않으며, 아민-작용성 실란을 실질적으로 함유하지 않도록 혼합하여 코팅조성물을 형성하는 단계; b) 상기 코팅 조성물을 기질에 적용하여 코팅된 기질을 형성하는 단계; 및 c) 상기 코팅된 기질을 건조하는 단계; 를 포함하는 방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 코팅된 기질은 주위 온도하에서 건조됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. a) 중합유니트로서, 아세토아세테이트-작용성 단량체를 0.5∼100중량% 포함하며, 유리전이온도가 -20∼150℃범위이며, 산-작용성 단량체를 5중량%미만으로 포함하는 중합체; b) 2가 금속이온; 및 c) 아민-작용성 실란; 을 포함하며 상기 아세토아세테이트-작용성 단량체 대 2가 금속이온의 몰비는 20 : 1∼2 : 1임을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물.
  8. 코팅 조성물로 코팅된 기질을 포함하는 물품에 있어서, 상기 코팅 조성물은 a) 중합유니트로서 아세토아세테이트-작용성 단량체를 0.5∼100중량% 포함하며, 유리전이온도가 -20∼150℃ 범위인 중합체; 및 b) 2가 금속이온; 을 포함하며 상기 2가 금속이온에 대한 아세토아세테이트-작용성 단량체의 몰비가 0.1∼2.0이며, 상기 조성물은 실질적으로 술포폴리에스테를 함유하지 않고, 상기 조성물은 실질적으로 아미노-작용성 실란을 함유하지 않는 물품.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 기질은 탄성 바닥재 및 비-탄성 바닥재로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 바닥재 기질임을 특징으로 하는 물품.
  10. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 기질은 목재, 파티클 보오드(particle board) 및 중간 밀도 섬유 보오드(medium density fiber board)로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택됨을 특징으로 하는 물품.
