Abstract

이 발명은 반구형 타입의 에어베어링을 사용하는 스핀들 모터에 있어서, 에어베어링을 삽입 고정되는 샤프트에 공기 유입홀을 형성하게 하여 에어베어링의 외부 공기가 상기 샤프트에 형성한 공기 유입홀을 통하여 용이하게 유입되어 에어베어링을 이루는 반구와 반구집 사이의 갭으로 순환되게 함으로써 반구와 반구집이 마찰 및 마모됨이 없이 항상 일정한 갭을 이루면서 회전하게 되어 에어베어링의 수명연장과 소음발생 방지 및 스핀들 모터 자체의 성능이 향상되는 효과가 있게 되는 스핀들 모터의 에어베어링 공기 순환구조이다.

제2도는 이 발명에 따른 에어베어링 공기 순환구조를 적용한 스핀들 모터의 단면도, 제3도는 이 발명에 따른 에어베어링 샤프트의 단면도, 제4도는 제3도의 좌측면도, 제5도는 이 발명에 따른 에어베어링 공기 순환구조에 의한 에어흐름을 설명하기 위한 에어베어링의 단면도이다.

Claims (1)

  1. 반구 타입의 에어베어링을 사용하는 스핀들 모터에 있어서, 에어베어링에 삽입 고정되는 샤프트의 외주 부분적인 면가공에 의해 측면홀을 형성하고 중앙에는 수직홀과 상기 측면홀 상에서 직경홀을 형성하여 에어베어링의 외부의 공기가 상기 측면홀 및 수직홀을 통하여 유입되어져 직경홀을 통하여 분배되어 에어베어링을 이루는 반구와 반구집 사이의 갭으로 순환 공급되게 함으로써 반구와 반구집이 항상 일정한 갭을 형성하는 상태로 회전되어 반구와 반구집이 마찰 및 마모되어지는 것이 방지되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스핀들 모터의 에어베어링 공기 순환구조.
