Abstract

단자 소켓 조립체(10)는 인쇄 회로 기판(12)상에 장착되도록 구성되고, 인쇄 회로 기판상의 납땜 패드에 납땜되도록 방사상 외향 돌출 날개부(26)과 함께 인쇄 회로 기판의 구멍(14)으로 축방향으로 삽입가능한 배럴부를 갖는 도전성 단자 소켓(20)을 포함한다. 단자 수납 유전체 하우징(22)은 그 내부에 단자 소켓(20)이 장착된다. 하우징은 납땜이 단자의 노출된 영역을 따라 위킹되는 것을 방지하고 결합시에 상호 간섭이 방지되도록 단자 소켓의 배럴부의 일부분 주위에 외주연으로연장한 벽(44)을 갖는다. 납땜 위킹 방지 설계는 사용된 전체 조립체 및 장치의 밀도를 최대화시키도록 회로 기판의 표면상에 직접적으로 커넥터 또는 부품을 표면 장착시킨다.

제1도는 본 발명에 따른 단자 소켓 조립체의 분해 사시도, 제2도는 조립된 상태의 소켓 조립체의 사시도, 제3도는 내부에 구멍을 갖는 인쇄 회로 기판에 위치되는, 제1도 및 제2도와는 그 위치가 뒤집혀진 상태의 소켓 조립체의 사시도.

Claims (10)

  1. 구멍과 이 구멍에 인접한 납땜 패드를 구비한 구멍을 갖는 인쇄 회로 기판상에 장착하기 위한 단자 소켓조립체에 있어서, 납땜 패드에 맞물림가능하고 상기 패드에 납땜되도록 구성된 방사상 외향 돌출 날개부를 갖는 인쇄 회로 기판의 구멍내에 축방향으로 삽입가능한 배럴부를 구비한 도전성 단자 소켓과, 단자 소켓을 고정시키고 납땜재가 단자소켓 안으로 위킹되는 것을 방지하도록 단자 소켓의 배럴부의 적어도 일부분 둘레에 벽부를 포함하는 단자 수납 유전체 하우징을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 단자 소켓 조립체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 날개부는 단자 소켓의 말단부로부터 축방향으로 이격된 것을 특징으로 하는 단자 소켓 조립체.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 단자 소켓의 상기 날개부는 단자 소켓의 배럴부의 일부분 주위에 외주연으로 연장하고,상기 벽부는 배럴부의 잔여부 주위에 외주연으로 연장한 것을 특징으로 하는 단자 소켓 조립체.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 단자 소켓의 배럴부의 직경 방향으로 대향한 측면들로부터 방사상 외측으로 돌출된 한 쌍의 상기 날개부를 포함하고, 상기 유전체 하우징의 상기 벽부는 날개부들 사이에 단자 소켓의 배럴부의 직경 방향으로 대향한 단부들 주위에 한쌍의 벽을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 단자 소켓 조립체.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 쌍의 날개부는 단자 소켓의 배럴부의 일부분 주위에 외주연으로 연장하고, 상기 쌍의 하우징 벽은 배럴부의 잔여부 주위에 외주연으로 연장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 단자 소켓 조립체.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단자 소켓의 상기 배럴부는 원통형이고, 상기 유전체 하우징의 상기 벽부는 반원통형인 것을 특징으로 하는 단자 소켓 조립체.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 유전체 하우징의 상기 벽부는 벽부들 사이에 억지 끼워 맞춤 되도록 상기 단자 소켓의 상기 배럴부와 관련된 크기로 형상된 것을 특징으로 하는 단자 소켓 조립체.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단자 소켓은 결합 단자 핀과 탄성적으로 맞물리도록 하우징내에 위치된 컴플라이언트 결합부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 단자 소켓 조립체.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 컴플라이언트 결합부는 축방향으로 연장한 내향으로 휘어진 외주연으로 이격된 복구의 탄성 핑거를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 단자 소켓 조립체.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단자 소켓은 상기 배럴부를 따라 종방향으로 연장한 시임을 한정한 금속 재료로 스탬프 및 성형되고, 상기 유전체 하우징의 상기 벽부는 납땜 위킹이 방지되도록 시임을 둘러싸는 것을 특징으로 하는 단자소켓 조립체.
