Abstract
본 발명은 액정 디스플레이용의 고분자량 액정 물질로 구성된 지연층, 다시 말하면 고분자량 액정 물질로 구성된 액정 디스플레이용의 지연층에 관한 것으로서, 고분자량 액정 물질의 메조성 기를 다양하게 함으로써 액티브 액정 셀의 분산도를 조절하여, 400~800nm의 파장영역에서 액티브셀과 지연층 사이의 분산도 차이가 0.1을 넘지않도록 한 것을 특징으로 한다.

Claims (4)
- 고분자량 액정 물질의 메조성 기를 다양하게 함으로써 액티브 액정 셀의 분산도를 조절함에 따라 400~800nm의 파장 영역에서 액티브 셀과 지연층 사이의 분산도의 차이 0.1이상, 바람직하게는 0.03 이상을 넘지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 고분자량 액정 물질로 구성된 액정 디스플레이용 지연층.
- 제1항에 있어서, 크게 콘쥬게이트된 시스템을 갖는 메조성 기와 작게 콘쥬게이트된 시스템을 갖는 메조성기 양쪽 모두가 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 지연층.
- 고분자량 액정 물질이 두개의 배향 기판 사이에 놓여져서, 기판중의 하나에 다른 하나의 기판과 다른 배향 방향을 부여하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제1항에 따른 지연층의 제조방법.
- 400~800nm의 파장 영역에서 액티브셀과 지연층 사이의 분산도 차이가 0.1이상이 아닌 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 액정 셀 및 고분자량 액정 물질의 지연층으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 애정 디스플레이.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
