Abstract

본 발명은 액정표시소자(LCD)에 평관판을 부착하는 작업에서 액정표시소자 표면에 붙어있는 이물질을 제거하는 작업인 나이프(knife) 세척 작업을 교류유도 모터와 파이버(fiber) 센서를 이용하여 나이프를 자동으로 작동시켜 세척하는 나이프 세척 장치에 관한 것으로서, 액정표시소자가 안치되는 스테이지, 상기 스테이지 위에 안치된 액정표시소자 표면의 이물질을 제거하는 나이프 유니트, 상기 나이프 유니트를 상하이동시키는 상하이동 수단, 상기 나이프 유니트를 좌우이동시키는 좌우이동 수단 및 상기 나이프 유니트의 위치를 감지하여 상기 상하ㆍ좌우이동 수단의 동작을 제어하는 제어 수단으로 구성되어서 수작업에 의존하던 액정표시소자의 이물질 제거를 교류유도 모터와 에어 실린더의 작동으로 자동 제거함으로써 보다 효과적인 이물질 제거 및 균일한 제거가 이루어져서 액정표시소자의 품질 균일화에 의한 생산성 향상 효과가 있다.

Claims (7)

  1. 액정표시소자가 안치되는 스테이지, 상기 스테이지 위에 안치된 액정표시소자 표면의 이물질을 제거하는 나이프 유니트, 상기 나이프 유니트를 상하이동시키는 상하이동 수단, 상기 나이프 유니트를 좌우이동시키는 좌우이동 수단 및 상기 나이프 유니트의 위치를 감지하여 상기 상하ㆍ좌우이동 수단의 동작을 제어하는 제어수단으로 구성된 나이프 세척 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 나이프 유니트는 액정표시소자의 표면을 긁어 이물질을 제거하는 나이프, 상기 나이프를 지지하는 홀더 및 상기 홀더를 탄력지지하는 지지대로 구서된 것을 특징으로 하는 나이프 세척 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 상하이동 수단은 상기 나이프 유니트 상부에 연결된 에어 실린더인 것을 특징으로 하는 나이프 세척 장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 좌우이동 수단은 구동원인 모터, 상기 모터에 장착된 제1풀리, 상기 제1풀리에서 소정 거리로 별도의 치구에 의해 지지되는 제2풀리, 상기 제1,2풀리를 연결하는 타이밍 벨트, 상기 타이밍 벨트에 고정된 브라케트 및 상기 브라케트와 나이프 유니트를 연결하는 연결축으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 나이프 세척 장치.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 모터는 교류유도 모터인 것을 특징으로 하는 나이프 세척 장치.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제어 수단은 상기 나이프 유니트의 초기 위치를 감지하여 상기 나이프 유니트를 하강시키는 방향으로 상기 상하이동 수단을 구동시키는 초기감지 센서와 종기 위치를 감지하여 상기 나이프 유니트를 상승시키는 방햐으로 상기 상하이동 수단을 구동시키는 종기감지 센서로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 나이프 세척 장치.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 초기, 종기감지 센서로는 액정표시소자에 손상을 주지 않는 파이버 센서인 것을 특징으로 하는 나이프 세척 장치.
