Abstract

[구성] 입력 화상 데이타를 복수 프레임 축적하는 프레임 메모리(40)와 복수 프레임 화상 데이타로부터 정보량을 평가하고 신체인지를 검출하는 신체인지 검출 회로(31)와, 신체인지 검출 출력을 공급에 의거하여 프레임내 부호화에 의한 압축 방법을 선택함과 동시에 GOP장의 결정을 행하는 GOP장 제어회로(34)와 압축 방법 선택 회로(32)와 선택된 압축 방법에 따라서 입력 화상 데이타를 압축 부호화하는 차분기(12)로부터 가변장부호화 회로(17)까지, 및 디코드(decode)와 동작 검출기(20), 동작 보상기(21) 등을 갖는다.

비디오 데이타 압축 방법 및 장치
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 본 발명 실시예의 화상 부호화 장치의 개략구성을 도시한 블록 회로도.
제2도는 GOP 결정의 플로챠트.
제3도는 결정된 GOP에 따른 픽처 타입 결정의 플로챠트.

Claims (9)

  1. 입력 화상 데이타를 복수로 축적하는 화상 데이타 축적 수단과, 상기 화상 데이타 축적 수단으로 축적된 복수매(枚)의 화상 데이타로부터 해당 입력 화상 데이타의 정보량을 평가하고, 신체인지를 검출하는 신체인지 검출 수단과, 상기 신체인지 검출 수단으로부터의 신체인지 검출 출력의 공급에 의거하여 프레임내 부호화에 의한 압축 방법에서 형성된 화상과, 프레임간 예측부호화에 의한 압축 방법에서 형성된 화상으로 구성된 소정 단위 길이의 GOP를 선택하는 선택 수단과, 상기 선택 수단에 의해 선택된 GOP에 따라서 상기 입력 화상 데이타에서 소정의 압축 부호화 처리를 실시하는 압축 부호화 처리 수단을 갖춘 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 부호화 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 선택 수단은, 상기 신체인지 검출 수단으로부터의 신체인지 검출 출력에 응하고, 상기 GOP에 있어서 상기 프레임내 부호화되는 화상의 매수와, 상기 프레임간 예측부호화되는 화상의 매수를 변경하고, 해당 GOP를 결정하는 단위장 제어 수단과, 해당 단위장 제어 수단으로부터의 출력에 의거하여, 상기 GOP 내에 있는 프레임간 예측부호화 화상을 다른 프레임간 예측 부호화 화상으로 변경하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 부호화 장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 GOP 내에 있는 프레임간 예측부호화 화상은 양방향 예측부호화 화상(B 픽처)이며, 다른 프레임간 예측부호화 화상은 전방향 예측부호화 화상(P 픽처)인 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 부호화 장치.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 선택 수단은 프레임내 부호화되는 화상 매수에 대한 프레임간 예측부호화되는 화상 매수의 비율이 소정 비율보다 클 때만 상기 신체인지 검출 출력에 응한 상기 GOP의 결정을 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 부호화 장치.
  5. 화상 부호화 방법에 있어서, 입력 화상 데이타을 복수매 축적하는 스텝, 상기 축적된 복수매의 화상 데이타로부터 해당 입력 화상 데이타의 정보량을 평가하고, 신체인지를 검출하는 스텝, 상기 신체인지 검출 출력 공급에 의거하여 프레임내 부호화에 의한 압축 방법에서 형성된 화상과 프레임간 예측 부호화에 의한 압축 방법에서 형성된 화상으로 구성되는 소정단위 길이의 GOP를 선택하는 스텝, 상기 선택된 GOP에 따라서 상기 입력화상 데이타에서 소정의 압축 부호화 처리를 실시하는 스텝으로 이루어져 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 부호화 방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 GOP를 선택하는 스텝은 상기 신체인지 검출 수단으로부터 신체인지 검출 출력에 응하고, 상기 GOP에 있어서, 상기 프레임내 부호화되는 화상 매수와, 상기 프레임간 예측부호화되는 화상매수를 적응적으로 변경하고, 해당 GOP를 결정하고, 해당 GOP에 의거하여, 상기 GOP 내에 있는 프레임간 예측 부호화 화상을 다른 프레임간 예측 부호화 화상으로 변경하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 부호화 방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 GOP내에 있는 프레임간 예측부호화 화상은 양방향 예측 부호화 화상(B 픽처)이며, 다른 프레임간 예측 부호화 화상은 전방향 예측 부호화 화상(P 픽처)인 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 부호화 방법.
  8. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 GOP를 선택하는 스텝은, 프레임내 부호화되는 화상 매수에 대한 프레임간 예측 부호화되는 화상 매수의 비율이 소정 비율보다 클 때만 상기 신체인지 검출 출력에 응한 상기 GOP 결정을 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 부호화 방법.
  9. 제6항 내지 제8항중 어느 한 항에 기재한 영상 부호화 방법에 의해 형성된 부호화 신호가 기록된 기록매체.
