Abstract

입자 코어와 하나 이상의 입자 쉘을 포함하는 콜로이드성 입자의 수성 분산액은, 테트라플루오로에틸렌, 에틸렌 및, 필요한 경우, 다른 플루오로올레핀 공단량체를 공중합시켜 시드 분산액을 제조한 다음, 융점이 입자 코어보다 20℃ 이상 낮은 중합체인 입자 쉘에 단량체를 공급하여 계속 중합시킴으로써 수득하며, 여기서 입자 쉘의 용적은 전체 용적의 1 내지 26용적%이다. 이러한 분산액을 응고 또는 분무 건조시켜 다공성 구조물의 제조에 적합한 분말을 수득할 수 있다.

Claims (10)

  1. 테트라플루오로에틸렌 단위 32 내지 60mol%, 에틸렌 단위 40 내지 60mol% 및 하나 이상의 공중합가능한 플루오로올레핀 단량체 단위 0 내지 8mol%를 갖는 공중합체의 입자 코어(a) 및 융점이 입자 코어의 공중합체의 융점보다 20℃ 이상 낮은 융점가공성 중합체의 하나 이상의 입자 쉘(b)을 포함하며, 입자 쉘(들)의 용적이 입자 전체 용적의 1 내지 26용적%인 용융가공성 공중합체의 콜로이드성 입자의 수성 분산액.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 입자 코어를 구성하는 공중합체의 융점이 250℃ 이상인 분산액.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 입자 코어를 구성하는 공중합체가 테트라플루오로에틸렌 공중합 단위 60 내지 40mol%와 에틸렌 단위 40 내지 60mol%를 포함하는 분산액.
  4. 제1 또는 제2항에 있어서, 공중합가능한 플루오로올레핀 단량체가 탄소수 3 내지 8의 퍼플루오로올레핀, 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 퍼플루오로(알킬 비닐 에테르) 또는 하기 일반식(Ⅱ)의 플루오로올레핀인 분산액.
    Rf1-[O-CF(CF3)-CF2]n-CF2-CF=CF2(Ⅰ)
    상기 식에서, Rf1은 탄소수 1 내지 5의 퍼플루오로알킬 라디칼이고, n은 0 내지 3이며, Rf2 및 Rf3은 각각 탄소수 1 내지 8의 퍼플루오로알킬 라디칼이고, Rf4는 F 또는 CF3이다.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 입자 쉘을 구성하는 중합체가 테트라플루오로에틸렌, 에틸렌 및 하나 이상의 다른 불소 함유 공단량체의 공중합 단위를 포함하는 공중합체인 분산액.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 공중합체가 테트라플루오로에틸렌 20 내지 30mol%와 에틸렌 단위 40 내지 60mol% 및 헥사플루오로프로펜 10 내지 30mol%를 포함하는 분산액.
  7. 응고된 2차 입자의 평균 입자 크기가 5㎛ 내지 2㎜인, 제1항 내지 제6항 중의 어느 한 항에서 청구한 플루오로중합체의 응고 분말.
  8. 분무 건조시켜 수득된 2차 입자의 평균 입자 크기가 1 내지 100㎛인, 제1항 내지 제6항 중의 어느 한 항에서 청구한 플루오로중합체의 응고 분말.
  9. 테트라플루오로에틸렌, 에틸렌 및 필요한 경우, 다른 플루오로올레핀 공단량체를 공중합시켜 시드 분산액(seed dispersion)을 제조하는 단계(A) 및 단계(A)에서 수득된 시드 분산액의 존재하에 융점이 단계(A)의 공중합체의 융점보다 20℃ 이상 낮은 중합체인 입자 쉘에 단량체를 공급하여 계속 중합시키는 단계(B)를 포함하는, 입자 쉘(들)의 용적이 콜로이드성 입자 전체 용적의 1 내지 26용적%인, 제1항 내지 제6항 중의 어느 한 항에서 청구한 분산액의 제조방법.
  10. 다공성 구조물을 제조하기 위한, 제7항 또는 제8항에서 청구한 분말의 용도.
