Abstract

본 발명의 필터 요소(10)은 지지체 재료 층(14)에 의해 지지되는 필터 재료 층(12)을 포함한다. 지지체 재료 층(14)은 지그재그식으로 접혀질 수 있으며 접힘 부분들(18)과 그 사이에 존재하는 굴곡 영역(16,17)을 가진다. 지지체 재료 층(14)은 접힘 부분(18)의 평면에서 돌출된 변형부(20)를 구비한 접힘 부분들(18)로 이루어진 영역을 가진다. 필터 재료 층(12)은 변형부(20)의 경계 모서리를 통해서 지지체 재료 층(14)에 의해 지지된다.

유체 여과용 필터 요소(FILTER ELEMENT FOR THE FILTRATION OF FLUIDS)

제1도는 지지체 재료층으로서 사용된 망상 지지체 구조물의 평면투시도로서, 상부의 필터 재료층을 가지는 측면, 망상 지지체 구조물내에 형성된 오목부 및 도면에서 부분 절췌한 필터 재료 층을 보여주는 도면이다, 제2도는 상부에 배치된 필터 재료층을 가진 제 1도에 따른 입체 망상 지지체 구조물의 선 Ⅲ을 따라 취한 단면도이다, 제3도는 지그재그 형태로 접힘 경우의 필터 재료 층을 가진 망상 지지체 구조물의 측면도이다, 제4도는 지그재그형 필터 요소의 투시도로서, 필터 요소를 둘러싼 필터 프레임을 개략적으로 도시한 도면이다, 제5도는(필터 재료 층이 없는) 지그재그형 망상 지지체 구조물의 평면도이다.

Claims (9)

  1. 유체 여과용 필터 재료 층(12) 및 상기 필터 재료 층(12)을 지지하기 위한 유체-불투과성 지지체 재료층을 포함하며, 상기 지지체 재료 층(14)은 지그재그 형태로 접혀 있고, 상호 각도를 이루어 쌍으로 배열된 각각의 접힘 부분(18)을 포함하며, 그 접힘 부분(18)들 사이에 굴곡 영역(16,17)이 형성되고, 상기 지지체 재료 층(14)은 그것의 지그재그 형태를 안정화시키기 위해 다수의 변형부(20)를 구비한 접힘 부분(18)을 가지며, 상기 변형부(20)는 접힘 부분(18)의 평면으로부터 돌출되어 있고 상기 지지체 재료 층(14)이 그것의 접힘 부분(18)에서 변형부(20)의 경계 모서리(30,16,17)를 통해 상기 필터 재료 층(12)을 지지할 수 있는 방식으로 배열되어 있는, 유체 여과용, 특히 공기 여과용 필터 요소.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 지지체 재료 층(14)의 변형부(20)가 지지체 재료층(14)이 접힘 부분(18)내에서 얇은 선으로 된 접촉 영역의 구조를 통해서만 필터 재료층(12)을 지지할 수 있을 정도로 상호 근접하여 배열되며, 접힘 부분(18)의 기타 영역들은 필터 재료 층(12)에 대해 일정한 간격을 두고 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 요소.
  3. 제 1 항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 각각의 접힘 부분(18)의 변형부(20)가 접힘 부분(18)의 경계를 정하는 2개의 굴곡 영역(16,17) 사이에 접힘 부분(18)의 전체 길이에 걸쳐 연장하며, 다수의 변형부(20)는 서로 나란하게 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 요소.
  4. 제 3 항에 있어서, 2개의 인접한 접힘 부분(18)의 변형부(20)들이 2개의 접힘 부분(18) 사이에서 연장 하는 굴곡 영역(16,17)에 대해 대칭적으로 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 요소.
  5. 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 필터 재료층(12)이 변형부(20)의 얇은 선상의 경계 모서리(30,16,17)를 따라 지지체 재료 층(14)에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 요소.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 지지체 재료 층(14)의 접힘 밀도가 인접한 접힘 부분(18)의 변형부(20)의 상호간 접촉에 의해 한정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 요소.
  7. 제1항 내지 제6항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 각각의 변형부(20)가 서로 각도를 이루어 연장하는 4개의 편평한 표면부(22,24,26,28)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 요소.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 2개의 표면부들(22,24; 26,28)이 각각 서로에 대향하여 쌍을 이루는 방식으로 배열되고, 제1쌍의 두 표면부(22,24)는 삼각형을 이루며 제2쌍의 두 표면부(26,28)는 사다리꼴 형태를 이루는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 요소.
  9. 제 8항에 있어서, 각각의 변형부(20)의 2개의 사다리꼴 표면부(26,28)가 비대칭이며 상이한 크기를 갖고, 상류의 굴곡 영역(16)에 의해 분리된 인접한 접힘 부분(18)의 사다리꼴 표면부(28)들중 더 큰 표면부들은 상기 굴곡 영역(16)에 대해 대칭적으로 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 요소.
