Abstract
본 발명은 광 픽업을 개시한다. 본 발명은, 빔 스프리터; 포커싱 신호만을 검출하는 포토 다이오드를 갖는 제1홀로그램 소자; 포커싱과 트랙킹 신호를 검출하는 포토 다이오드를 갖는 제2홀로그램 소자; 상기 빔 스프리터에 의해 반사된 서로 다른 파장의 레이저 빔을 광 디스크에 집속시키는 집속수단; 을 포함하여 하나의 몸체에 복수개의 기록층이 형성된 광 디스크의 각 기록층에 각각 기록/재생을 행하도록 된것으로서, 서로 다른 2가지 이상의 파장을 가지는 레이저 빔을 제1, 2홀로그램 소자를 통해 선택적으로 발생 시킬 수 있는 것이어서, 한몸체에 복수의 기록층을 가지고 있는 광 디스크에 용이하게 기록/재생을 행할 수 있는 것은 물론이고, 특히 트랙이 마련되어 있지 않은 어느 하나의 기록층을 통해 포커스 신호만을 용이하게 검출할 수 있는 이점이 있다.

제3도는 본 발명에 따른 광 픽업의 개략도, 제4도는 (가),(나),(다)는 제1, 2홀로그램 소자에 사용되는 포토다이오드를 도시한 개략도.
Claims (4)
- 빔 스프리터; 상기 빔 스프리터의 어느 일측면과 대면하도록 설치되고, 소정파장의 레이저 빔을 발생하는 레이저 다이오드와, 이 레이저 다이오드로부터 발생된 빔을 빔 스프리터를 향해 주사하는 회절격자, 그리고 포커싱 신호만을 검출하는 포토 다이오드를 갖는 제1홀로그램 소자; 상기 제1홀로그램 소자와 수직방향에 위치되어 빔 스프리터의 타측면과 대면하며, 소장파장의 레이저 빔을 발생하는 레이저 다이오드와, 이 레이저 다이오드로부터 발생된 빔을 분할하는 홀로그램 패턴이 형성된 홀로그램과, 포커싱과 트랙킹 신호를 검출하는 포토 다이오드를 갖는 제2홀로그램 소자; 상기 빔 스프리터에 의해 반사된 서로 다른 파장의 레이저 빔을 광디스크에 집속시키는 집속수단; 을 포함하여 하나의 몸체에 복수개의 기록층이 형성된 광 디스크의 각 기록층에 각각 기록/재생을 행하도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1홀로그램 소자의 포토 다이오드가, 단일 포토 다이오드인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1홀로그램 소자의 포토 다이오드가, 2분할 포토 다이오드인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업.
