Abstract

본 발명은 변환부호화를 사용하는 디지탈 화상 수신기에서 수신 화상의 블럭킹효과로 인한 화질열화를 방지 할 수 있도록 양자화/역양자화 시에 손상되는 화상정보를 이전 블럭의 데이타에 의거하여 복원시켜 주는 수단을 구비한 디지탈 화상 복호화장치에 관한 것으로, 부호화 되어 비트스트림 형태로 입력되는 영상데이타 신호를 가변길이 복호화 하고 역양자화한 다음 역이산 코사인 변환을 실행하여 원래의 신호로 복원하며, 이 복원된 영상신호에 대해 움직임 보상을 실행하여 복호화된 영상신호를 발생하는 디지탈 화상 복호화장치에 있어서, 역양자화된 데이타 신호에 대해 역이산 코사인 변환을 실행하기에 앞서 인접하는 이전 블럭들의 DC 계수값에 기초하여 양자화/역양자화시에는 발생되는 현재 블럭의 DC 계수의 오차를 보상하기 위한 오차수단을 부가하여 구비함으로서, 화면이 잘게 나누어져 나타나는 블록킹 현상을 방지하여 보다 깨끗하고 선명한 화질을 갖는 화상의 디스플레이를 실현할 수 있도록 개선한 것이다.

제1도는 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 디지탈 화상 복호화장치의 개략적인 블럭구성도, 제2도는 본 발명에 따라 인접하는 이전 블럭의 DC 계수값에 의거하여 현재 블럭의 DC 계수값의 오차보상을 실행하는 과정을 보여주는 플로우챠트, 제3도는 일예로서 도시한 데이타블럭의 예시도.

Claims (2)

  1. 부호화 되어 비트스트림 형태로 입력되는 영상데이타 신호를 가변길이 복호화 하고 역양자화한 다음 역이산 코사인 변환을 실행하여 원래의 신호로 복원하며, 이 복원된 영상신호에 대해 움직임 보상을 실행하여 복호화된 영상신호를 발생시키는 디지탈 화상 복호화장치에 있어서, 상기 역양자화된 데이타 신호에 대해 상기 역이산 코사인 변환을 실행하기에 앞서 인접하는 이전 블럭들의 DC 계수값에 기초하여 양자화/역양자화시에 발생되는 현재 블럭의 DC 계수의 오차를 보상하기 위한 수단을 더욱 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지탈 회상 복호화장치.
