Abstract

본 발명의 전기 커넥터(16)은 하우징의 전방 짝결합 단부(34)와 하우징의 후방단부(36)사이에서 연장되는 다수의 단자 수용통로(50a 내지 50b)를 구비하는 하우징(18)을 포함한다. 다수의 단자(56 내지 60)이 상기 통로안에 수용된다. 단자 위치 확정장치(26)은 모든 단자가 그 각각의 통로에 적절히 위치될 때에만 제1 위치와 제2 위치 사이에서 이동을 하도록 하우징 상에 장착된다. 커버(38)은 하우징의 후방 단부의 적어도 일부분 위에서 하우징에 결속된다. 상기 단자 위치 확정 장치는 이 단자 위치확정 장치가 제2 위치에 있지 않으면 커버가 하우징에 결속되지 않게 하는 부분(46, 80)를 구비한다.

제2도는 단자 위치 확정 장치의 평면도,
제4도는 단자 위치 확정 장치가 제1 위치에 있는 커넥터 하우징을 관통하여 도시한 단면도,
제5도는 단자 위치 확정 장치가 제2위치 또는 작동 위치에 있는 제4도와 유사한 단면도.

Claims (5)

  1. 하우징 수단의 전방 짝결합 단부와 하우징 수단의 후방단부 사이에서 연장되는 다수의 단자수용 통로를 구비하는 하우징 수단과, 상기 통로안에 수용된 다수의 단자와, 상기 모든 단자가 그 각각의 통로에 적절히 위치될 때에만 제1 위치와 제2 위치사이에서 이동하도록 하우징 수단상에 장착된 단자 위치확정 장치와, 상기 하우징 수단의 후방 단부의 적어도 일부분에 걸쳐 하우징 수단에 결속된 커버를 포함하는 전기 커넥터에 있어서, 상기 단자위치 화정 장치 상에 설치되어 단자위치 화정 장치가 제2위치에 있지 않으면 커버가 하우징 수단에 결속되는 것을 방지하는 수단을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단자 위치 확정 장치는 단자가 적절히 위치된 때에만 상기 단자 위치 확정 장치가 제2위치로 이동할 수 있도록 단자와 작동 가능하게 결합된 제1 부분과, 상기 단자 위치 확정 장치가 제2 위치에 있을 때에만 커버가 상기 하우징 수단에 결속되도록 커버에 작동 가능하게 결합된 제2부분을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 단자 위치 확정 장치의 제1부분은 하우징 수단에 활주 가능하게 장착된 판을 포함하며, 상기 판은 단자가 관통하여 연장되는 다수의 구멍을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 단자 위치 확정 장치의 제2부분은 상기 단자 위치 확정 장치가 제1 위치에 있을때 하우징 수단 상의 결손 위치 안으로 커버가 이동하는 통로 안으로 상기 판으로부터 돌출하는 아암을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 커버는 상기 하우징 수단 상의 홈 수단 안으로 위치 가능한 커버 상의 리브 수단에 의해 상기 하우징 수단에 결속되고, 상기 단자 위치 확정 장치는 이 단자 위치 확정 장치가 제 1 위치에 있을 때에는 홈 수단을 차단하는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
