Abstract

본 발명의 제거 기술은 시스템에서 구현되고, 레이다 신호 처리 방법은 근접범위 타겟들을 검출하는데 이용된다. 본 발명은 주파수 변조 연속파(FMCW) 또는 계단형 주파수 파형을 사용하고, 일반적으로 송신기 누출 및 내부 영향에 의해 모호하게 되는 근접 범위 타겟들을 검출할 수 있다. 이러한 제거 기술은 1개 이상의 기준 램프 신호들의 송신에 의해 작동하고, 그후 연속적으로 송신 및 수신된 램프 복긔 신호들의 한 그룹으로부터 송신된 기준 램프 신호들의 코히어런트 평균을 감한다. FM 램프 복귀 신호들의 최종 그룹은 더 안정한 타겟 검출 통계를 달성하기 위해 논코히어런트 적분된다. 특히, 본 발명에 따른 기술은 다음의 처리 단계, 즉 선정된 많은 기준 램프 신호들을 발생시키는 단계, 기준 평균 신호를 생성하기 위해 송신된 기준 램프 신호들에 대응하는 타겟 복귀 신호들을 코히어런트 평균하는 단계, 추가 램프 신호들을 송신하는 단계, 제거된 램프 신호를 생성하기 위해 각각의 램프 복귀 신호로부터 기준 평균 신호를 감하는 단계, 각각의 게거된 램프 신호를 푸리에 변환하는 단계, 푸리에 변환 신호의 크기를 검출하는 단계, 크기 검출된 신호를 논코히어런트 적분하는 단계, 적분된 신호를 쓰레숄딩하는 단계, 센트로이드 위치가 가장 근접한 타겟에 대한 범위를 표시하는 쓰레숄드된 신호를 센트로이딩하는 단계, 위치가 선정돈 차단 범위보다 작은 타겟에 대한 타겟 데이타를 디스플레이하는 단계를 실행 한다.

Claims (10)

  1. 주파수 변조 연속파(FMCW) 및 제단형 주파수 파형을 사용하여 타겟들의 근접범위 검출을 제공하는 레이다 시스템에 있어서, 기준 램프 신호들을 송신하고 기준 램프 복귀 신호들을 수신하기 위한 트랜시버 수단;(a) 수신된 기준 램프 복귀 신호들의 코히어런트 평균(coherent average)을 결정하고, (b) 연속적인 기준 램프 복귀 신호들의 한 그룹내의 각각의 신호로부터 송신된 기준 램프 신호들의 코히어런트 평균을 감하며(subtract), (c) 근접 타겟을 검출하기 위해 기준 램프 복귀 신호들의 최종 그룹을 논코히어런트 적분(noncoherently intergrating)하기 위한 신호 처리 수단;및 검출된 타겟을 디스플레이하기 위한 디스플레이를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신호 처리 수단이 근접 타겟의 검출을 위한 선정된 차단 범위를 설정하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 트랜시버 수단이 주파수 변조 연속파(FMCW) 또는 계단형 주파수 파형을 포함하는 선택된 레이다 파형을 송신 및 수신하기에 적합한 안데나/트랜시버 어셈블리를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 트랜시버 수단이 상기 안테나/트랜시버 어셈블리에 의해 송신될 선택된 레이다 파형을 처리하기 위한 A/D 변화기 및 수신된 레이다 파형을 포함하는 레이다 복귀 신호를 처리하기 위한 D/A 변환기를 포함하는 아날로그/디지탈 변환 회로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 신호 처리 수단이 상기 선택된 레이다 파형을 포함하는 램프 신호를 발생시키기 위한 파형 제어 수단;각각 제거된 램프 신호를 푸리에 변환하기 위한 푸리에 변환 수단,상기 푸리에 변환 수단에 결합되어 상기 푸리에 변환된 신호의 크기를 검출하기 위한 크기 검출 수단;상기 논코히어런트 적분 신호를 쓰레숄딩(thresholding)하기 위한 쓰레숄딩 수단;및 상기 쓰레숄딩 신호를 센트로이딩(centroiding)하기 위한 센트로이딩 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신호 처리 수단이 상기 선택된 레이다 파형을 포함하는 램프 신호를 발생시키기 위한 파형 제어 수단;각각 제거된 램프 신호를 푸리에 변환하기 위한 푸리에 변환 수단;상기 푸리에 변환 수단에 결합되어 상기 푸리에 변환된 신호의 크기를 검출하기 위한 크기 검출 수단;상기 논코히어런트 적분 신호를 쓰레숄딩(thresholding)하기 위한 쓰레숄딩 수단;및 상기 쓰레숄딩 신호를 센트로이딩(centriding)하며, 센트로이드 위치는 가장 근접한 타겟의 범위를 나타내는 센트로이딩 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
  7. 주파수 변조 연속파(FMCW) 및 계단형 주파수 파형을 사용하여 근접 범위의 타겟을 검출하는 방법에 있어서, 기준 램프 신호들을 송신하는 단계;기준 램프 복귀 신호들을 수신하는 단계;수신된 기준 램프 복귀 신호들의 코히어런트 평균을 결정하는 단계:제거된 램프 신호들을 생성하기 위해 연속적인 기준 램프 복귀 신호들의 한 그룹내의 각각의 신호로부터 송신된 기준 램프 신호들의 코히어런트 평균을 감하는 단계;근접 타겟을 검출하기 위해 최종 제거된 램프 신호들을 논코히어런트 적부하는 단계; 및 위치가 선정된 범위보다 작은 타겟에 대한 타겟 데이타를 디스플레이하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 근접 범위 타겟 검출 방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 근접 타겟을 검출하기 위해 선정된 차단 범위를 설정하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 근접 범위 타겟 검출 방법.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 각각 제거된 램프 신호를 푸리에 변환하는 단계;푸리에 변환된 신호의 크기를 검출하는 단계;논코히어런트 적분된 신호를 쓰레쏠딩하는 단계;및 센트로이드 위치가 가장 근접한 타겟에 대한 범위를 표시하는 상기 쓰레숄드된 신호를 센트로이딩하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로하는 근접 범위 타겟 검출 방법.
  10. 주파수 변조 연속파(FMCW) 및 계단형 주파수 파형을 사용하여 근접 범위의 타겟을 검출하는 방법에 있어서, 선정된 많은 기준 램프 신호들을 송신하는 단계;기준 평균 신호를 생성하기 위해 송신된 기준 램프 신호들로부터 유도된 타겟 복귀 신호들을 코히어런트 평균(coherently averaging)하는 단계;추가 램프 신호들을 송신하는 단계;제거된 램프 신호를 생성하기 위해 상기 추가 램프 신호들로부터 유도된 각각의 타겟 복귀 신호로부터 기준 평균 신호를 감하는 단계;각각 제거된 램프 신호를 푸리에 변환하는 단계;푸리에 변환된 신호의 크기를 검출하는 단계;크기 검출된 신호를 논코히어런트 적분하는 단계;상기 논코히어런트 적분된 신호를 쓰레숄딩하는 단계;센트로이드 위치가 가장 근접한 타겟에 대한 범위를 표시하는 상기 쓰레숄드된 신호를 센트로이딩하는 단계;및 위치가 선정된 차단 범위보다 작은 타겟에 대한 타겟 데이타를 디스플레이하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 근접 범위 타겟 검출 방법.
