Abstract
본 발명은 디씨티와 브이엘씨를 사용하는 인트라프레임 압축부호화 기법을 이용하여 압축되는 동영상을 고정 전송채널로 전송하는데 사용되는 버퍼의 제어기술에 관한 것으로, 간단히 구현할 수 있는 통계적 정귀환 버퍼제어수단을 제안하고, 이를 기존의 통계적 부귀환 수단과 결합한 새로운 정, 부귀환 버퍼제어 수단을 구현함으로써 장면전환이 발생하는 경우에도 안정되게 버퍼를 제어할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 버퍼의 용량 및 사용되는 테이프의 길이를 줄일 수 있고, 정귀환 기법만을 적용하는 경우 기존의 부귀환 기법에 비해 간단하게 구현할 수 있게 한 것이다.

제3도는 DF와 필드당 비트 발생 관계를 보인 그래프.
제4도는 일반적인 정귀환 버퍼제어 방식을 JPEG 알고리즘에 적용한 것을 보인 블록도.
제5도는 본 발명의 정귀환 방식을 JPEG 알고리즘등에 적용한 것을 보인 블록도.
제6도는 SSAD와 블록당 비트발생 관계를 보인 그래프.
제7도는 본 발명의 정귀환 버퍼제어 수단이 일반적인 부귀환 버퍼제어 수단과 결합되어 사용되는 것을 보인 일실시 예시블록도.
Claims (5)
- 입력영상을 압축부호화하는 엔코더(210)와, 상기 엔코더(210)의 디씨티(111)에서 출력되는 신호를 공급받아 각 프레임의 복잡도를 계산하여 그에 대한 데이터양을 소정의 디씨티 블록단위로 예측하여 그에 따른 디에프(DF)를 상기 엔코더(210)의 양자화기(112)에 출력하는 정귀환 디에프선택기(120)를 포함하여 구성한 것을 특징으로 하는 디씨티기반의 인트라 프레임 동영상 압축을 위한 버퍼 제어장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 정귀환 디에프 선택기(120)는 8×8 디씨티 블록단위로 복잡도를 계산하고 발생데이타량을 예측하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디씨티기반의 인트라프레임 동영상 압축을 위한 버퍼 제어장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 정귀환 디에프 선택기(120)는 에스에스에이디를 이용하여 각 프레임의 복잡도를 계산하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디씨티기반의 인트라프레임 동영상 압축을 위한 버퍼 제어장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 정귀환 디에프 선택기(120)는 휘도신호와 색조신호 각각에 대하여 예측 통계를 구하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디씨티기반의 인트라프레임 동영상 압축을 위한 버퍼 제어장치.
- 입력영상을 압축부호화하는 엔코더(210)와, 상기 엔코더(210)의 출력 정보를 공급받아 외부로 출력하는 버퍼(220)와, 상기 엔코더(210)의 디씨티(211)에서 출력되는 정보를 공급받아 각 프레임의 복잡도를 계산하여 휘도신호와 색조신호에 대한 데이터양을 예측하는 정귀환 디에프 선택기(230)와, 상기 정귀환 디에프 선택기(120)로부터 인접한 두 프레임에 대한 비트율 예측치를 공급받아 이들의 차가 정해진 문턱치를 상회할 때 장면이 전환된 것으로 판단하여 그에 따른 장면전환 검출신호(SC)를 출력하는 장면전화 검출기(240)와, 상기 장면전환 검출기(240)로부터 장면전환 검출기(SC)가 입력될때에는 상기 정귀환 디에프 선택기(230)에서 출력되는 디에프(DF1)를 상기 엔코더(210)의 양자화기(212)에 전달하고, 그 이외의 경우에는 상기 부귀한 디에프 선택기(250)에서 출력되는 디에프(DF2)를 상기 양자화기(212)에 전달하는 모드 선택기(260)로 구성한 것을 특징으로 하는 디씨티기반의 인트라프레임 동영상 압축을 위한 버퍼 제어장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
