Abstract
공지된, 특히 자동차의 내연기관용 배기가스 촉매변환기는 내식성 금속 쉬트로 만들어진 지지체를 가진다. 특히 상온 시동단계에서 그것의 효율을 개선시키기 위해 전기 전도 지지체를 전압원에 접속함으로써 지지체를 가열하는 것이 공지되어 있다.
이 경우 절연 갭 또는 절연 층이 지지체 내부에 배열되어 전류를 안내한다. 높은 기계적 강도를 가진 지지체를 간단히 제조하기 위해, 본 발명에 따른 배기가스 촉매 변환기(10)는 지지체(13)의 금속 쉬트(14,16) 및/또는 그것의 코팅에 열 접속된 적어도 하나의 자체 절연 가열소자(18,20)를 가진다. 본 발명은 자동차 내연기관의 배기가스 촉매변환기에 적용된다.

Claims (25)
- 배기가스가 안내되는 흐름채널 내에 배치되고 외부에서 가열가능하며 금속 쉬트로 구성되고 배기가스를 통과시킬 수 있는 구조물을 가진 촉매코팅용 지지체를 포함하는, 특히 내연기관욘 배기가스 촉매변환기에 있어서, 구조물의 외부에 구조물로 부터 전기 절연되게 형성된 적어도 하나의 별도의 가열소자(18,84,95,119,134)가 제공되고, 상기 가열소자는 지지체(13,94,116,131)의 금속 쉬트(14,92,119,135)에 및/또는 그것의 코팅에 열접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 촉매변환기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 작은 직경을 가진 적어도 하나의 원통형 또는 비아형 전기 가열소자(18,20,95)가 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 촉매변환기.
- 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 적어도 부분적으로 파형 금속 쉬트층(16)을 가지며, 적어도 하나의 비아형 가열소자(18,20)가 지지체(13)의 파형 쉬트에 고정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 촉매변환기.
- 제3항에 있어서, 파형 쉬트(16)의 파형이 가열소자(18,29)의 직경에 매칭되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 촉매변환기.
- 제1항 내지 4항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 지지체(13)가 적어도 하나의 나선형으로 감겨진 평형 쉬트(14)로 이루어지고, 평형 쉬트(14)의 총 사이에 배기가스가 통과할 수 있는 파형 쉬트층(16)이 배열되며, 다수의 바아형 가열소자(18,20,22,24)가 서로 간격을 두고 상기 파형 쉬트층(16)내로 삽입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 촉매변환기.

- 제6항에 있어서, 전기 가열소자가 나선형으로 감겨진 쉬트, 특히 평형 쉬트로서 지지체내에 배열되도록 구부러질 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 촉매 변환기.
- 제2항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 전기 가열소자(18,20,22,24)의 마주놓인 단자(56,58)가 지지체(13)의 전면(17,19)으로 부터 빠져나와 전압원(34)에 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 촉매변환기.
- 제8항에 있어서, 한 전면(17,19)에 속하는, 다수의 전기 가열소자(18,20,22,24)의 단자(56,58)가 서로 접속되고, 적어도 하나의 단자그룹이 지지체(13)의 케이싱 하우징(12)을 통해 안내되는 전류 케이블(30,32)을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 촉매변환기.
- 구조화된 내식성 금속 쉬트(14,16)를 감거나 층층이 쌓음으로써 지지체를 만드는 제5항 내지 10항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 배기가스 촉매변환기의 제조방법에 있어서, 감거나 층층이 쌓기전에 구조화된 금속 쉬트(16)의 형상에 적합한 가열소자(18,20,22,24)를 서로 간격을 두고 구조화된 금속 쉬트(16) 내로 삽입한 다음 감거나 층층이 쌓아 지지체(13)를 만드는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 촉매변환기의 제조방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 지지체를 감을때 평형의 구부러질 수 있는 가열소자를 구조화된 금속 쉬트(14,16)와 함께 감는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 촉매변환기의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 지지체가 별형 와인딩 기술로 배열된 금속 쉬트로 이루어지고, 상기 지지체내에 지지체의 흐름구조에 매칭된 형상을 갖는 미리 성형된 가열소자(84)가 삽입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 촉매변환기.
