본 발명은 모니터의 주파수판별방법 및 그 보상회로에 관한 것으로, 종래의 카운터는 수직동기신호(V-SYNC)안에 있는 수평동기신호(H-SYNC)의 갯수를 카운트함으로써 수평주파수(31.5KHZ)/수직주파수(70HZ)와 수평주파수(38kHZ)/수직주파수(84HZ)가 거의 같은 값을 나타냄으로써 오동작을 할 수 있으며, 모드선택시 모드제어신호를 "하이(H)" 및 "로우(L)"만으로 출력함으로써 아날로그와 접속시 많은 부품을 필요로 하며, 저항과 캐패시터만으로 구성하여 ASIC화 할 수 없는 단점을 가지고 있다.The present invention relates to a frequency discrimination method of a monitor and a compensation circuit thereof, and a conventional counter counts the number of horizontal synchronization signals (H-SYNC) in the vertical synchronization signal (V-SYNC), so that the horizontal frequency (31.5KHZ) / The vertical frequency (70HZ) and the horizontal frequency (38kHZ) / vertical frequency (84HZ) show almost the same value, which can cause a malfunction.
