Abstract

본 발명은 저온환경이나 고온환경에 있어서, 연속충전이나 트리클충전에 의해 전지성능이 저하하지 않고, 충전 방전특성이 우수한 니켈. 수소축전지를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 수산화 니켈을 주성분으로 해서 아연 및 카드뮴으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 적어도 하나의 원소를 함유하는 양극과 수소흡수합금을 주성분으로 하는 음극과 폴리올레핀수지섬유의 부직포 또는, 폴리살폰수지섬유의 부직포로 이루어진 격리판과 전해액인 알카리수용액 등을 전지의 구성요소로 하면서 전지내에 주입된 전기한 전해액은 격리판에 유지된 전해액의 중량X와 격리판의 중량Y의 사이에 0.3≤X/(X+Y)≤0.5의 관계가 성립하는 액량으로 규정된 것을 특징으로 하는 밀폐형 니켈,금속수소화물 알카리축전지.

제1도는 저온연속충전식 1사이클째에 있어서 전지의 방전특성도, 제2도는 고온연속충전시 8 사이클째에 있어서 전지의 방전특성도, 제3도는 본 발명의 한 실시예에 관련된 전지의 단면도, 제4도는 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 관련된 전지의 단면도, 제5도는 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 관련된 전지의 단면도.

Claims (6)

  1. 니켈활성화물을 주성분으로 해서 아연 및 카드뮴으로 이루어진 군(群)으로부터 선택된 적어도 하나의 원소를 함유한 양극과 수소 흡수합금을 주성분으로한 음극과 폴리올레핀수지섬유의 부직표 또는, 폴리살폰수지섬유의 부직포 등으로 이루어진 격리판과 알카리수용액으로 이루어진 전해액등을 전지 구성요소로 하면서 전지내의 전기한 전해액은 격리판에 유지된 전해액의 중량X와 세퍼레이타재의 중량Y의 사이에 0.3≤X/(X+Y)≤0.5의 관계가 성립하는 액량으로 규정된 것을 특징으로 하는 밀폐형 니켈,금속수소화물 알카리축전지.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 전기한 음극수소흡수합금은 희토류원소의 혼합물인 밋슈메탈과 니켈과 코발트 등을 함유해서 구성된 것으며, 합금의 결정구조가 CaCu5형 구조인 것을 특징으로 밀폐형 니켈,금속수소화물 알카리축전지.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 전기한 밋슈메탈중의 네오지움의 함유량이 20-50중량%인 것을 특징으로 하는 밀폐형 니켈,금속수소화물 알카리축전지.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 희토류원소의 혼합물인 밋슈메탈, 니켈, 및 코발트를 구성요서 한 음극수소 흡수합금중에 있어서, 코발트의 조성비가 미슈메탈 1에 대해서 0.5-1.2인 것을 특징으로 하는 밀폐형 니켈,금속수소화물 알카리축전지.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 전기한 음극수소흡수합금은 결정체의 덴드라이트셀사이즈가 10㎛이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 밀폐형 니켈,금속수소화물 알카리축전지.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 전기한 음극수소흡수합금이 합금성분의 혼합물의 용융액을 1×103℃/s이상의 냉각속도로 급냉해서 얻어진 것을 특징으로 하는 밀폐형 니켈.금속수소화물 알카리축전지.
