Abstract
칼라 매트릭스 표시장치는 적어도 3세트의 화소를 갖추고, 상기 3 세트중 동일한 어느 하나의 세트의 화소는 모두 적색, 청색 및 녹색 중 동일한 색으로 이루어지고, 상기 세트중 동일한 어느 한세트의 상기 화소는 모두 행과 열로 구성되는 매트릭스 배열로 분포되는 스크린으로 구성된다. 다수의 열 콘덕터는 동일한 열내에 모든 화소를 각각 동시에 번지지정한다. 다수의 행 콘덕터는 동일한 행내에 모든 화소를 동시에 번지지정한다. 적색 또는 청색 화소에 할당된 각각의 열 콘덕터는 녹색 화소에 할당된 열 콘덕터중 어느 하나에 의해 번지지정되는 전체 화소 영역의 약 2배인 전체 화소 영역을 번지지정한다. 열 콘덕터에 연결된 구동회로는 적색 및 녹색 화소의 주기의 절반인 시간 또는 공간 반복주기에서 녹색 화소를 번지지정한다.

제 1 도는 본 발명의 제 1 실시예를 구성하는 표시장치의 일부를 보인 블록도, 제 2 도는 제 1 도의 변형 실시예의 블록도, 제 3 도는 제 1 도에 도시한 종류의 표시장치를 제어하기 위해 색신호가 샘플링되는 상수(t0, t0+ δt)를 보인 시간선도, 제 8 도는 컬럼 구동회로의 입력부의 구조를 보인 블록도, 제 9 도는 제 8 도의 구조에서 제어가 어떤 시간대로 행해지는지를 보인 시간선도.
Claims (7)
- 적어도 3세트의 화소를 갖추고, 상기 3세트중 동일한 어느 하나의 세트의 화소는 모두 적색, 청색 및 녹색 중 동일한 색으로 이루어지고, 상기 세트중 동일한 어느 한세트의 상기 화소는 모두 행과 열로 구성되는 매트릭스 배열로 분포되는 스크린과, 상기 열중 동일한 열내에 모든 화소를 각각 동시에 번지지정하는 다수의 열 콘덕터와, 상기 행중 동일한 행내에 모든 화소를 동시에 번지지정하는 다수의 행 콘덕터로 구성되고, 열 콘덕터는 연결됨으로써 적색 또는 청색 화소에 할당된 각각의 열 콘덕터는 녹색 화소에 할당된 열 콘덕터중 어느 하나에 의해 번지지정되는 전체 화소 영역의 약 2배인 전체 화소 영역을 번지지정하고, 구동 회로수단은 상기 열 콘덕터에 연결되어 적색 및 녹색 화소의 주기의 절반인 시간 또는 공간 반복주기에서 녹색 화소를 번지지정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼라 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 적색, 녹색 및 청색 화소는 연속하는 행에 규칙적으로 분포되고 사실상 동일한 영역을 가지며, 적색 및 청색 화소에 대응하는 열 콘덕터는 동일한 색을 가지는 화소의 인접한 두 열을 동시에 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼라 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 열 콘덕터는 표시장치의 한쪽에 배치되어 적색 화소용 열 콘덕터와 녹색 화소용 열콘덕터의 절반을 제어하는 하나의 유니트와 다른쪽에 배치되어 청색 화소용 열 콘덕터와 녹색 화소용 열 콘덕터의 절반을 제어하는 또다른 유니트를 구비한 구동회로에 의해 구동되는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼라 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 열은 각각 다른 화소와 정렬하거나 5점형으로 배열된 동일한 색의 화소로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼라 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 녹색 화소의 각각의 영역은 사실상 각각의 적색 또는 청색 화소의 영역의 절반인 것을 특징으로 하는 칼라 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 행은 각각 적색, 녹색, 청색, 녹색, 적색, 녹색…의 순서로 배열된 화소로 구성되고, 상기 열은 각각 한색에 제공되는 분리된 열 콘덕터에 의해 제어되는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼라 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제5항에 있어서, 두 개의 열 콘덕터중 하나는 교대로 한행의 적색 화소 및 후속하는 행의 청색 화소를 제어하는데 사용되고, 나머지 열 콘덕터는 녹색 화소를 제어하는데 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼라 매트릭스 표시장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개되는 것임.
