Abstract

팩시밀리 장치에는 저용량의 메모리와 저속 프린터가 제공된다. 수신된 데이타의 프린팅이 수신율보다 낮은 프린트 속도로 인해 늦어지는 경우, 프린팅이 요구되는 시간 주기가 계산되고, 계산된 시간 주기에 따라 몇몇 동작이 실행된다. 계산된 시간 주기가 접속되는 CCITT T39 권고에 따른 흐름 제어를 프링팅하는데 부족하거나 또는 긴 경우 시간 주기에 대응하는 시간의 양이 계산되고 계산된 데이타 양에 대응하는 프레임수의 재송출이 송출국에 요청된다. 따라서 수신된 데이타는 적절한 프린팅 시간주기에 따라 프린트된다.

제1도는 휴대용 팩시밀리 장치의 본체의 구성을 도시한 블럭도, 제2(a)도 및 제2(b)도는 휴대용 팩시밀리 장치의 사시도, 제3(a)도 내지 제3(c)도는 본체 전원 구성의 블럭도, 제4도는 NCU 1-9의 구성을 도시한 상세 블럭도이다.

Claims (9)

  1. ECM 통신을 위해 데이타를 재송출하도록 송출국에 요청하는 기능을 갖고 있는 화상 통신 장치에 있어서, 수신된 데이타를 재생하기 위한 수단과, 통신 정보 및 프린트 데이타를 저장하기 위한 메모리 수단을구비하고, ECM수신 기능을 갖고 있으며, ECM수신을 행할 때에 흐름 제어를 실행해도 시간 주기의 부족으로 인해 수신된 데이타를 재생할 수 없다고 판단된 경우, 수신된 화상 데이타를 재생하면서 송출국에 재송출을 요청하기 위해 송출국으로부터의 PPS-Q신호에 응답하여 송출국에 PPR신호를 송출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 통신 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 흐름 제어를 실행해도 시간 주기의 부족으로 인해 화상 데이타를 재생할 수 없다는 판단은 프린트되지 않은 데이타의 프레임의 수나 프레임 크기를 고려해서 프린트되지 않은 데이타에 대한 메모리 크기에 따라 판단되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 통신 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 흐름 제어를 실행해도 시간 주기의 부족으로 인해 화상 데이타를 재생할 수 없다는 판단은 복호화 시간 주기, 프린트되지 않은 라인 수나 1라인의 프린팅 시간에 따라 재생되지 않은 데이타를 복호화 및 프린팅하는데 요구되는 시간 주기를 계산하여 판단되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 통신 장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 흐름 제어를 실행해도 시간주기의 부족으로 인해 화상데이타를 재생할 수 없다는 판단은 메모리 수단의 빈 영역의 용량을 계산하여 판단되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 통신 장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 재송출 요청은 수신된 에러 프레임의 수와 프레임의 소정수의 합을 재송출하도록 송출국에 요청하거나, 또는 재송출이 요청될 프레임이 세트될 때 재송출 후의 흐름 제어에 필요한 시간주기를 계산하여 몇몇 프레임을 재송출하도록 송출국에 요청함으로써 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 통신 장치.
  6. 제 2 항 내지 제 5 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 재송출이 요청되는 프레임은 계산된 프레임 수에 대응하는 수신된 블럭의 단부가 재송출되는 방식으로 세트되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 통신 장치.
  7. 제 2 항 내지 제 5 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 프레임의 계산된 수에 대응하는 재송출이 요청되는 프레임은 프린트되지 않은 프레임 후에 세트되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 통신 장치.
  8. 제2항에 있어서, 수신 에러로 인해 재송출되는 프레임 이외의 재송출 프레임은 메모리 수단에 저장된 정정 프레임을 과기록하지 않고 단지 체크만 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 통신 장치.
  9. 제2항에 있어서, 모든 재송출 프레임은 메모리 수단에 기록되어 체크되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 통신 장치.
