Abstract

종래의 의사(疑似)위상정합형 파장변환소자와 동일한 높은 변환효율이 얻어지고, 또한 비교적 간단한 구조로 제조가 용이한 광파장변환소자를 제공한다.
비선형(非線形) 광학결정기판(1)의 위에 유전체로 이루어지는 광도파로(2)를 배설하여 구성하고, 광도파로(2) 내를 도파하는 파장 λ의 기본파가 역시 광도파로(2) 내를 도파하는 기본파와 동일 편파(偏波)의 파장 λ/2의 제2고조파(高調波)로 파장변환되는 구성으로 한다.

Claims (3)

  1. 비선형(非線形) 광학결정기판의 위에 유전체로 이루어지는 광도파로가 배설되어 이루어지고, 상기 광도파로 내를 도파하는 파장 λ의 기본파의 역시 상기 광도파로 내를 도파하는 상기 기본파의 동일편파(偏波)의 파장 λ/2의 제2고조파(高調波)로 파장변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광파장변환소자.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 비선형 광학결정기판이 KTiOPO4로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 광파장변환소자.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 광도파로로 될 유전체가 주로 Ta2O5로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 광파장변환소자.
