Abstract

전기 커넥터(10)은 인쇄회로기판의 표면에 장착하도록 제공된다. 커넥터는 회로기판상의 적절한 회로선에 연결될 수 있는 다수의 단자(14)들을 장착하기 위한 유전체 하우징(12)를 포함한다. 기판 장착 장치(16)은 회로기판 표면상에 커넥터를 장착하기 위한 하우징에 장착된다. 장착 장치는 하우징에 한쌍의 슬롯(38,40)안으로 각각 삽입 가능한 상부 레그(26)과 하부 레그(28)를 한정하는 C형 부분을 포함한다. 슬롯(38,40)중 적어도 하나는 하우징상의 확실한 위치로 기판 장착 장치를 편의시키기 위해 레그(26,28) 각각의 자유단과 결합하도록 된 경사선단(46,48)을 포함한다.

제 1 도는 본 발명에 따른 기판 장착 장치를 구체화한 전기 커넥터의 일부 절결 사시도, 제 2 도는 기판 장착 장치의 사시도, 제 3 도는 인접한 하우징 지역으 절결부에 따른 기판 장착 장치의 측단면도, 제 4 도는 기판 장착 장치의 평면도, 제 5 도는 제 1 도의 선 5-5를 따른 부분 단면으로서 로킹 탭이 최종 굽힘 위치에 있는 것을 도시한 도면.

Claims (7)

  1. 회로기판상의 적당한 회로선과 접속가능한 다수의 단자를 장착하기 위한 유전체 하우징과, 회로기판의 표면상에 커넥터를 장착하기 위한 하우징상의 기판 장착 장치를 포함하는 인쇄회로기판의 표면상에 장착하기 위한 전기 커넥터에 있어서, 상기 기판 장착 장치는 하우징 내의 한쌍의 슬롯안으로 각각 삽입 가능한 상부 레그 및 하부 레그를 한정하는 C형 부분을 포함하며, 슬롯들 중 적어도 하나는 항징 상의 안정된 위치로 기판 장착 장치를 편의시키도록 레그들 각각의 자유단과 맞물리게 된 경사선단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 양 슬롯은 모두 기판 장착 장치의 C형 부분의 양 레그의 자유단과 각각 맞물리도록 된 경사선단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  3. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 레그들 중 하나는 다른 레그보다 길며, 적어도 다른 레그를 삽입할 수 있는 슬롯은 다른 레그의 자유단과 맞물릴수 있는 경사선단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  4. 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 하나의 레그는 상기 하부 레그로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  5. 제 4 항에 있어서, 인쇄회로기판에 커넥터를 장착하기 위하여 상기 하부 레그로부터 돌출된 기판 로킹 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  6. 제 4 항에 있어서, 하우징으로부터 기판 장착 장치의 이탈을 방지하기 위하여 하부 레그와 하우징 사이에 보상형 상호 결합 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  7. 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 보상형 상호 결합 수단은 하부 레그로부터 돌출하며 하부 레그가 그 각각의 슬롯안으로 삽입된 후 하우징의 견부 너머로 굽혀지도록 된 탭을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
