본 발명에 의하면 높은 내처짐성을 갖는 폴리올레핀과 그래프트 공중합체의 중합체 혼합물 및 그 제조방법이 제공된다.

Claims (20)

  1. (a)폴리올레핀; (b)20∼100%의 비닐 방향족 단량체와 그 비닐방향족 단량체와 공중합 가능한 0∼80%의 하나 혹은 그 이상의 단량체로 부터 유도된 중합체와 비극성 폴리올레핀의 세그멘트 공중항체의 중합체 혼합물 약 0.1-50중량% 포함하는 중합체 혼합물.
  2. 1항에 있어서, 상기 중합체는 약 40-100중량%의 비닐 방향족 단량체와 그 비닐방향족 단량체와 공중합 가능한 0∼60중량%의 하나 혹은 그 이상의 단량체로부터 유도됨을 특징으로 하는 중합체 혼합물.
  3. 2항에 있어서, 상기 세그멘트 공중합체는 상기 중합체 혼합물의 0.2∼10중량% 포함함을 특징으로 하는 중합체 혼합물.
  4. 1항에 있어서, 상기 비극성 폴리올레핀은 폴리에틸렌, 폴리프로필렌, 폴리부티렌, 폴리(4-메틸펜텐), 이들의 공중합체, 및 다른 공중합 가능한 단량체와 폴리 올레핀의 공중합체, 로 구성되는 그룹에서 선택됨을 특징으로 하는 중합체 혼합물.
  5. 4항에 있어서, 상기 비닐 방향족단량체는 스티렌, 메틸스티렌, 디메틸스티렌, 에틸스티렌, 이소프로필스티렌, 클로로스티렌, 디클로로스티렌, 트리클로로스티렌, α-메틸스티렌, 브로모스티렌, 및 트리브로모스티렌으로 구성되는 그룹에서 선택됨을 특징으로 하는 중합체 혼합물.
  6. 4항에 있어서, 상기 폴리올레핀과 비극성 폴리올레핀은 폴리 프로필렌 혹은 폴리에틸렌임을 특징으로 하는 중합체 혼합물.
  7. 6항에 있어서, 상기 비닐방향족 단량체는 스티렌이고 상기 비극성 폴리올레핀은 폴리프로필렌임을 특징으로 하는 중합체 혼합물.
  8. 6항에 있어서, 상기 중합체는 100% 스티렌으로부터 유도됨을 특징으로 하는 중합체 혼합물.
  9. 1항의 중합체 혼합물로부터 제조된 물품.
  10. 9항에 있어서, 상기 물품은 압출, 카렌더, 열성헝(thermoformed) 혹은 성형(molded)된 것임을 특징으로 하는 물품.
  11. 10항에 있어서, 상기 물품이 섬유, 시이트, 필름 혹은 중공 턴테이너 형태임을 특징으로 하는 물품.
  12. 청구범위 7항의 중합체 혼합물로 부터 제조된 물품.
  13. 12항에 있어서, 상기 물품은 압출, 카렌더, 열성형 혹은 성형된 것임을 특징으로 하는 물품.
  14. 13항에 있어서, 상기 물품은 섬유, 시이트, 필름 혹은 중공 컨테이너 형태임을 특징으로 하는 물품.
  15. 4항에 있어서, 용융물형태에서 용융강도비(상대 내처짐성으로 판단시)가 세그멘트 공중합체가 없는 폴리 올레핀보다 최소 5배임을 특징으로 하는 중합체 혼합물.
  16. 비극성 폴리올레핀과 비닐 방향족 단량체의 세그멘트 공중합물 제조방법에 있어서, (a)약 110℃∼125℃ 온도범위에서 1시간의 반감기를 갖는 자유-래디컬 개시제의 존재하에 비닐방향족 단량체 및 임의로 그 비닐 방향족 단량체와 공중합 가능한 하나 혹은 그 이상의 단량체 약 20중량%이하(전체 단량체 한량기준)를 비극성 폴리올레핀과 혼합하고, (b)그 혼합물을 그래프팅이 일어날때까지 중합체의 연화점 이하의 온도까지 가열함은 포함하는 방법.
  17. 16항에 있어서, (a)먼저 비극성 폴리올레핀, 비닐 방향족 단량체 및 개시제의 혼합물을 폴리올레핀이 완전이 팽윤하는 온도까지 가열하고 (b)그후 그래프팅이 일어날때까지 비극성 폴리올레핀의 연화점 이하까지 계속 가열함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  18. 17항에 있어서, 상기 (a)에서의 온도가90℃이하이며 상기 (b)에서의 온도가 100℃ 이상임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  19. (a)약 110℃∼125℃온도범위에서 1시간의 반감기를 갖는 개시제의 존재하에 비극성 폴리올레핀과 스티렌(그리고 임의로 전체 단량세 함량 준으로 약 20% 이하의 스티렌과 공중합 가능한 하나 혹은 그 이상의 단량체)을 혼합하고 (b)그 혼합물을 상기 비극성 폴리올레핀이 완전히 팽윤하는 온도까지 최소 1℃/min 속도로 계속 가열하고 (c)그래프팅이 일어날때까지 상기 비극성 폴리올레핀의 연화점 이하까지 최소 1℃/min속도로 계속 가열함을 포함하는 본질적으로 그래프트되지 않은 폴리스티렌이 없으며 폴리프로필렌의 용융강도를 개선시키는 세그멘트 공중합체의 제조방법.
  20. 19항에 있어서, 상기 비극성 폴리올레핀은 폴리프로필렌이며, 상기 혼합물은 약 140℃온도까지 직접 가열됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
