본 발명은 노 내부로 장입물을 분배하기 위한 슈트를 갖춘 수직로의 장입장치에 관한 것으로서, 장입물을 저장하기 위한 여러개의 콘테이너와 분배 슈트상으로 장입물을 도입하기 위한 분배장치와 노의 입구에 장착되며 계량밸브와 밀폐밸브에 의하여 제어되는 유동도관을 갖는 밸브 케이지로 이루어진다.
이러한 종류의 장치중에는 “콘리스 쓰롯(coneless throat)”장치가 있으며, 이에는 두개의 상이한 타입이 있다. 종래 기술로는 미합중국 특허 제3,693,812호가 있다. 상기 특허는 노의 수직축의 양 측면에 서로 나란히 배열되며 경사면에 의하여 분배슈트상의 수직 유동도관에 접속되는 두개의 저장 콘테이너를 갖는다.
두번째 타입의 장치로 보다 최근의 것으로는 EP-0,062,770호가 있다. 중앙 공급식 장치로 더 잘 알려진 이 장치는 하나의 콘테이너위에 다른 하나의 콘테이너가 배열되며, 노의 축을 중심으로 대칭되며, 하나가 밀폐실로서 작용하는 두개의 콘테이너를 갖는 것을 특징으로 한다.
두 타입의 장치의 각각은 다른 장치와 비교하여 장점과 결점을 가지며, 특징적으로는 한 장치의 장점이 대체로 다른 장치의 결점이 되고 반대로 결점이 다른 것의 장점이 된다. 이에 따라 종래 장치의 장점중의 하나는 두개의 콘테이너가 교대로 작동하는 점 즉, 하나가 채워지는 동안 다른 것은 비워지는 점이다. 이로 인해 가압 및 감압 뿐만 아니라 밸브의 작동시간이 상대적으로 짧으며 또한 거의 연속적인 작업을 가능하게 한다. 다른 한편으로 EP-0,062,770호에 따라 하나위에 하나가 배열되는 두 콘테이너를 갖는 장치에서는 상부실에서 하부실로 장입물의 이송중에 장입작업이 방해를 받지 않는다.
서로 나란히 배열된 두 콘테이너를 갖는 종래 장치의 결점중의 하나는 두개의 콘테이너 모두가 로크 챔버(lock chamber)의 형태로 설계되어야 하고 이에 의하여 두 계량 밸브이외에 두 쌍의 밀폐밸브가 필요하게 된다. 한편으로 두번째 타입의 장치에서는 단지 하나의 콘테이너가 로크 챔버의 형상으로 설계되고 이에 의하여 밸브의 수를 감소시킨다.
서로 나란히 배열된 두 챔버를 갖는 장치의 또 다른 결점은 경사면상의 장입물의 유동이 장입물의 낙하궤도에 수평성분을 제공하여 분배 슈트의 위치에 따라 또한 비워지는 챔버에 따라 분배 슈트상의 장입물의 낙하점을 변경시키고 이에 따라 노 내부의 장입물의 분배는 불규칙적이고 비대칭적이 된다. 한편으로 상하로 배열된 두 콘테이너를 갖는 장치의 타입에서는 장입물의 유동이 노의 중심축과 관련하여 대칭적이며 수직방향으로 이루어지며, 이에 의하여 노의 내부로 더 규칙적인 분배가 이루어지게 된다.
상하로 배열된 두 콘테이너를 갖는 장치의 결점중의 하나는 상하로 배열된 콘테이너의 배열로 인하여 높이가 상당히 증대된다는 데에 있다. 이는 전체적인 높이를 제한하기 위하여 폭은 넓히고 높이는 줄이는 콘테이너를 제공하는 경향이 있다.
그러나 이는 또 다른 공지된 문제 즉, 입자들의 치수에 따라서 콘테이너 내부의 입자가 분리되는 문제를 발생시킨다. 이 현상은 룩셈부르크 특허 제85/810호에 상세하게 기술되어 있으며 콘테이너의 직경이 커짐에 따라 더 커지게 되며 두 콘테이너의 각각의 내부에서의 분리효과가 결합됨에 따라 두번째의 타입의 장치에서 특히 많이 발생하게 되며, 이에 의하여 최종분리효과가 증대되게 된다. 한편으로 서로 나란히 배열된 두 챔버를 갖는 타입의 장치에서는, 분리효과는 챔버를 더 높게 하고 덜 넓도록 설계함에 따라 덜 하게 된다. 게다가 두 챔버내부의 분리효과도 결합되지 않게 된다.
본 발명의 목적은 서로 나란히 배열하는 둘 이상의 콘테이너를 갖는 장치와 서로 상하로 배열하는 둘 이상의 콘테이너를 갖는 장치의 장점은 가지나 전술한 결점은 갖지 않는 서두에서 언급된 타입의 새로운 장입장치를 제공하는 것이다.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명의 장치는 장입물이 분배 슈트상에 장전되지 않고 노의 수직축상에 정렬된 제1의 위치와 상기 콘테이너가 충전되고 노의 수직축에서 횡방향으로 분리되는 제2의 위치사이에서 수평방향으로 변위되며 서로 나란히 배열되는 둘 이상의 콘테이너를 갖는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직한 실시예에 따르면, 콘테이너는 노의 수직축과 평행한 수직축을 중심으로 선회할 수 있는 회전 플랫폼상에 장착된다.
이 배열의 결과로서, 동시에 콘테이너중의 하나를 채우고 나머지 하나를 비우는 것이 가능하며 이후 그 위치의 역전이 가능하다. 확실히 이 배열로는 플랫폼을 회전시키고 콘테이너의 위치를 역전시키는데 요구되는 시간 때문에 서로 나란히 배열된 두 챔버를 갖춘 공지된 장입장치의 연속성을 얻는 것이 가능하지 않으나, 그 작동은 상부 콘테이너에서 하부 콘테이너로 장입물을 이송하는데 소요되는 시간이 증가되므로 상하 배열된 두 콘테이너를 갖는 장치보다 더 빠르다. 게다가 본 발명에 의하여 제안된 장치는 비워진 콘테이너가 노의 수직축상에 항상 배치되므로 상하로 배열된 콘테이너를 갖는 장치의 중심이송장치의 모든 장점을 갖는다. 또한 이 장치는 높이와 관련된 문제를 갖지 않으므로 적절하게 더 신장된 형상을 갖는 콘테이너를 제공함으로써 분리효과를 감소시킬 수 있다.
각각의 콘테이너는 상부 밀폐밸브와 하부 체크밸브를 갖는다.
제1의 위치에 배열된 콘테이너와 밸브케이지사이의 밀폐접속은 밸브케이지와 노의 입구사이에 배열된 벨로즈 조인트의 팽창을 통하여 밸브케이지를 들어올림으로써 얻어진다.
이하 첨부도면을 참조로 본 발명을 상세하게 설명한다.
제1도는 수직로(20)의 상부를 도시하며, 그 입구내에는 수직축(0)을 중심으로 슈트(22)를 회전시키고 수직축과 관련하여 그 각위치를 조정하기 위하여 구동기구(24)에 의하여 작동되며 장입물을 분배하기 위한 슈트(22)가 장착된다. 구동기구(24)는 유럽특허출원 제0,062,770호에 도시된 종류의 밸브케이지(26)를 그 상부에 갖는다.
수직로(20)는 본 발명의 하나의 특징에 따라 콘테이너(28)가 채워진 충전위치와 콘테이너(30)가 비워진 방출위치사이에서 노의 중심축(0)과 평행한 수직축(X)을 중심으로 회전함에 의하여 변위가능한 두 저장 콘테이너(28, 30)를 위쪽에 장착한다. 이를 위하여 두 콘테이너(28, 30)는 모터(36)에 의하여 작동되고 노(20)의 입구상에 장착된 프레임(38)에 의하여 지지되는 회전플랫폼(34)상에 지지되는 이중 포크형상(제2도 참조)을 갖는 크레이들(cradle)(32)에 의하여 지지된다. 두 콘테이너(28, 30)는 크레이들(32)상에 바로 놓여지지는 않으며, 그 각각은 각각의 콘테이너(28, 30)의 내용물이 밸브의 자동작동을 위하여 공지된 방법으로 영구적으로 모니터될 수 있는 세 그룹의 스케일(40)과 스프링을 거쳐 크레이들에 의하여 지지된다.
장입물은 충전위치에 있는 콘테이너위 또는 적용가능하다면 콘테이너(28)위에 배치된 호퍼(44)내로 콘베이어 벨트(42)에 의하여 도입된다. 호퍼(44)는 모터(50)에 의하여 회전구동되는 축방향 회전로드(48)상에 수평방향으로 고정된 크로스-피스(cross-piece)(46)에 의해 현가된다. 장입물이 충전되면서 호퍼(44)가 회전됨에 따라 이송벨트(42)에 의해 호퍼내로 도입되는 입자의 분리가 상당히 감소되게 된다. 잭의 작용하에 수직으로 변위가능하며 로드(48)의 하단에 부착되는 플레이트(54)뿐만 아니라 콘베이어 벨트(42) 대향되게 부착되는 수직플레이트(52)는 호퍼(44) 내부의 분리효과가 감소될 수 있도록 부가적인 크기를 갖는다. 플레이트(54)의 수직위치는 호퍼(44)내부의 장입물의 높이에 따라서 조정되며, 이 높이는 공지된 레벨센서에 의해 측정된다. 상기 플레이트는 내부로 공급되는 장입물에 따라 호퍼(44)내부의 체적을 다소 일정하게 유지하기 위하여 작동될 것이다.
저장콘테이너(28, 30)내부의 분리를 감소시키기 위한 조치로는 콘테이너(28)의 경우에서 도시된 것처럼, 호퍼(44)로부터 낙하하는 장입물을 분리시키기 위하여 그 축을 따라서 콘테이너 내부에 하나이상의 플레이트(56)를 부착하는 방법이 있다. 다른 조치로는 룩셈부르크 대공국 특허출원 제85/810호에 기술된 것이 있다.
참조 부호 58은 충전위치에 배치된 콘테이너, 또는 적용가능하다면 밀폐밸브가 닫혀진후와 두 콘테이너(28, 30)의 위치가 역전되기전의 콘테이너내로 공기를 유입시키고, 장입물을 분배슈트(22)로 방출하기 위하여 밸브를 개방하기전의 콘테이너(30)를 가압하는 기능을 하는 압력균등화 도관을 도시한다. 콘테이너의 가압을 가속화하기 위하여 콘테이너들의 각각(콘테이너(28)의 경우에는 도시되지 않음)에는 콘테이너의 저부를 그 상부에 직접접속하는 분기 파이프(60)가 제공된다. 파이프(58)는 노(20)의 운동뿐만 아니라 밸브 케이지(26)의 어긋나는 운동을 흡수하기 위하여 유니버셜 벨로즈 조인트를 갖추어야 한다.
제2도는 두 콘테이너(28, 30)의 조립을 부가적으로 상세하게 도시한다. 제1도에 38로 도시된 프레임은 수평플랫폼(68)을 지지하며 노(20)의 상부상에 장착된 세개의 기둥(62, 64, 66)으로 사실상 구성된다. 모터(36)의 의하여 구동되는 회전링(34)은 회전베어링(도시안됨)에 의하여 상기 플랫폼(68)상에 놓여진다. 노(20)의 외부로 고온 가스를 운반하기 위한 도관은 참조 부호 70으로 도시된다. 수직축선(X)을 중심으로 한 크레이들(32)의 회전 및 콘테이너 위치의 역전은 수직에 대해 경사진 이러한 도관(70)에 의하여 방해받지 않는다.
상기 제안된 장치가 작동될 수 있도록 하기 위하여 각각의 콘테이너(28, 30)와 밸브 케이지(26)사이의 밀폐접속을 보장하는 수단이 제공되어야 한다. 이러한 수단은 밸브 케이지(26)의 부분다면도로 제3-5도에 도시된다.
각각의 콘테이너(28, 30)가 밸브 케이지(26)에 신속하고 밀폐식으로 고정될 수 있도록 하기 위하여 밸브 케이지(26)는 수직축 방향으로 이동가능하며 이를 위하여 벨로즈 조인트(78)에 의하여 슈트(22)(제1도에 도시됨)를 구동하는 기구(24)의 하우징(80)에 접속된다. 이 벨로즈 조인트(78)는 압력스프링(86)의 영향을 받는 슬라이딩 피스톤(84)을 각각이 둘러싸는 여러개의 바람직하기로는 세개의 배치 실린더(82)와 접속된다. 밸브 케이지(26)의 무게와 스프링(86)의 작용하에 밸브 케이지는 실린더(82)상에 통상 놓여지고 벨로즈 조인트(78)는 압축된 위치에 있게 된다. 스프링(86)은 또한 콘테이너가 케이지(26)상에 놓여지지 않을때 노의 트러스트를 보상하기 위하여 필요하다.
밸브 케이지(26)는 또한 여러개 바람직하기로는 세개의 유압실린더(88)가 주위에 고정된 상부의 환상의 밀폐면(94)을 갖는다. 이 실린더 각각의 확대된 실린더 헤드(92)를 갖는 수직로드를 구비한 피스톤을 갖는다.
제3도는 밸브 케이지(26)의 상부가 이격되며 두 밸브(74, 76)가 닫혀져야 하는 두 저장 콘테이너가 회전중인 장치를 도시한다. 또한 예방적인 조치로써 밸브(74, 76)가 닫혀지지 않을때 콘테이너(28, 30)의 회전을 방지하는 기구를 제공하는 것이 가능하다. 예를들면 밸브(74, 76)와 연결된 리미트 스위치를 사용할 수 있다.
각각의 콘테이너(28, 30)는 그 기부에서 유압실린더(88)의 위치와 상응하는 위치에 피스톤 로드(90)의 헤드(92)의 형상을 보상하는 형상을 갖는 노치로 제공된 깔대기(98)를 갖는다. 콘테이너들중의 하나 예를들면 콘테이너(30)가 제4도에서 도시된 것처럼 회전에 의하여 방출위치로 오게 될때는 각각의 노치(96)는 유압실린더(88)의 대응하는 헤드(92)중의 하나와 맞물리게 된다.
각각의 콘테이너(28)의 하부 유동도관은 밸브 케이지(26)의 상부 밀폐면(94)과 대응하는 환상의 밀폐면(100)이 제공되고, 이 두 밀폐면(94, 100)은 예를들면 오목과 볼록의 상호 보완적인 형상을 갖는다. 참조부호(102)는 상부밀폐면의 중심부로 안내되는 가압가스 파이프(102)를 나타내며, 그 목적은 반대방향으로 가압가스를 분사함에 의하여 밀폐효과를 향상시키고 밀폐면을 세척하는 것이다.
제5도는 콘테이너와 밸브 케이지(26)간의 접속을 도시한다. 상기 접속은 밀폐면(94, 100)이 서로 접촉할 때까지 피스톤의 로드측상의 실린더내부에 유압을 분사함으로써 이루어진다. 밸브 케이지(26)는 벨로즈 조인트(78)의 팽창과 스프링(86)의 압축의 결과로서 배치실린더(82)내부로 미끄러지는 피스톤(84)에 의하여 상승된다.
저장 콘테이너(30)와 밸브 케이지(26)의 접속해제는 제3-5도를 참조로 상술한 접속과 동일한 작동이나 역순으로 이루어진다.
각각의 콘테이너(28, 30)가 축(X)을 중심으로 회전하는 중에 밸브 케이지(26)로부터 접속해제되므로 이들 콘테이너는 장입물을 유지하기 위하여 하부체크밸브(104)를 갖추어야 한다. 각각의 콘테이너(28, 30)는 본원 기술분야의 종래의 저장 콘테이너와 유사하게 부가적으로 상부 밀폐밸브(106)를 갖는다.
상술한 실시예에서와 같이 단지 두 콘테이너를 제공하는 대신에 세개 또는 그 이상의 콘테이너를 제공하는 것이 가능하며 이에 의하여 회전에 소요되는 시간을 감소시킬 수 있다.
Claims (7)
- 노 내부에 장입물을 분배하기 위한 슈트와, 장입물을 슈트상으로 이송하기 위하여 수직로의 수직축상에 정렬되는 이송채널과, 이송채널을 통하여 장입물의 유동을 제어하기 위한 계량밸브와. 가스 밀폐 밸브를 포함하며, 수직로의 상부에 장착되는 밸브 케이지와, 수직로의 수직축과 평행한 수직축을 중심으로 선회할 수 있는 회전플랫폼과, 상기 상부 밀폐밸브와 하부 장입물 유지밸브를 각각이 가지며, 상기 회전플랫폼상에 지지된 둘 이상의 콘테이너와, 상기 분배슈트상으로 상기 유동도관을 통하여 비장전될 수 있고 노의 수직축상의 밸브 케이지상에 정렬된 제1의 위치와, 장전기구에 의하여 채워질 수 있는 장전위치사이에서 상기 플랫폼의 회전에 의하여 각각의 콘테이너가 변위될 수 있도록 상기 회전플랫폼상에 배열되는 상기 콘테이너용으로 사용되며, 수직로의 수직축으로부터 횡방향으로 거리를 두고 배치된 장전위치를 형성하는 장전기구와 , 상기 제1의 위치에 있는 콘테이너를 상기 밸브 케이지에 밀폐가능하게 접속하는 밀폐수단을 포함하는 수직로의 장입장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 두 콘테이너는 회전플랫폼상에 장착된 크레이들에 의하여 여러그룹의 스케일 및 스프링을 거쳐 지지되는 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 밸브 케이지 및 상기 콘테이너상의 보상밀폐면과, 상기 밸브 케이지가 상기 벨로즈 조인트를 팽창시키므로써 상기 수직로의 수직축을 따라서 축방향으로 변위될 수 있도록 수직로의 상부와 밸브 케이지사이에 접속된 벨로즈 조인트를 포함하는 밀폐수단을 갖는 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 콘테이너의 밀폐에 대해 상기 밸브케이지상의 밀폐면을 누르기 위하여 상기 제1의 위치에 있는 콘테이너와 맞물리는 여러개의 유압실린더를 또한 포함하는 밀폐수단을 갖는 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 실린더의 각각이 헤드를 갖는 피스톤 로드를 포함하며, 상기 실린더가 상기 풀랫폼의 회전을 통하여 콘테이너를 상기 제1의 위치에 가져다 놓음에 의하여 각각의 콘테이너의 측벽에 형성된 대응하는 노치와 상기 헤드의 각각이 맞물리도록 상기 밸브 케이지상에 배열되는 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 각각의 콘테이너가 그 내부에 있는 양쪽 장입물의 압력을 균일하도록 하기 위하여 그 하단부를 그 상단부에 접속하는 분기된 파이프를 포함하는 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 밸브 케이지에 접속된 압력균등화 도관을 포함하는 장치.
