Abstract
본 발명은 액정표시장치 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 일정간격으로 배열되고 수직방향으로 연장된 복수의 데이타배선들과, 일정간격으로 배열되고 상기 복수의 데이타배선들과 교차되도록 수평방향으로 연장된 복수의 게이트배선들과, 한쌍의 데이타배선들과 한쌍의 게이트배선들로 둘러싸인 각 영역들내에 한정되어 각각 형성된 복수의 투명화소전극들과, 상기 각 영역들의 한 구석에 형성되어 각 데이타배선으로부터 각 투명화소전극에 표시신호를 전달하기 위한 복수의 스위칭소자들과, 상기 각 투명화소전극의 일부분과 절연층을 개재하여 대향되어 스토리지 커패시터를 구성하기 위한 복수의 커패시터전극들로 이루어진 배면유리기판과 차광막, 칼라필터 및 보호막으로 이루어진 전면유리기판을 구비한 액정표시장치에 있어서, 상기 배면유리기판의 각 커패시터전극들은 상기 각 투명화소전극상의 한정된 화소표시영역 둘레의 투명화소전극부분과 대향되도록 형성되고, 상기 각 게이트 배선은 상기 각 스위칭소자 영역의 하부에 형성되어 상기 커패시터전극과 상기 스위칭소자에 의해 상호 연결되는 제1개게이트배선과 상기 제1게이트배선과 평행하게 형성되며 상기 제1게이트배선과 연결되는 제2게이트배선의 이중구조로 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치를 제공한다. 따라서 본 발명은 종래 액정표시장치보다 향상된 개구율과 명암비를 얻을수 있으며, 액정표시소자 제조시의 수율향상을 도모할 수 있다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. A liquid crystal display device having a front glass substrate comprising a color filter and a protective film, wherein the rear surface Each capacitor electrode of the substrate is formed to face a transparent pixel electrode portion around a limited pixel display area on each transparent pixel electrode, and each gate line is formed under the switching element area so that the capacitor electrode and the switching are formed. The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device having a double structure of a first gate wiring connected to each other by a device and a second gate wiring connected to the first gate wiring and parallel to the first gate wiring. Therefore, the present invention can obtain an improved aperture ratio and contrast ratio than the conventional liquid crystal display device, and can improve the yield in manufacturing the liquid crystal display device.
