Abstract
유로퓸 산화물, 티타늄 이산화물 및 세륨 산화물을 함유하는 용융석영은 자외선은 흡수하며 가시광선은 방출하는데 특히 효과적임을 알게 되었다. 이러한 물질의 사용은 할로겐 백열 램프의 램프 밀폐체 및 보호체와 자외선과 가시광선을 방출하는 할로겐화 금속물 아크 방전램프를 포함한다.

Claims (10)
- 유로퓸 산화물, 티타늄 이산화물 및 세륨 산화물을 함유하는 적어도 96중량%의 SiO2함량을 갖는 유리질 투광성 물질.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 물질은 용융석영인 유리질 투광성 물질.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 SiO2함량은 적어도 99중량%인 유리질 투광성 물질.
- 제1,2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 티타늄은 +4 원자가를 갖는 유리질 투광성 물질.
- 자외선과 가시광선을 방출하는 광원을 포함하며, 상기 광원은 자외선 흡수 및 가시광 투과성의 제3항에 따른 조성물의 용융석영 밀페체로 둘러싸여 있는 램프.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 자외선 및 가시광선의 광원은 필라멘트를 포함하는 램프.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 램프는 할로겐 백열 램프를 포함하는 램프.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 자외선 및 가시광선의 광원은 아크방전원을 포함하는 램프.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 아크 방전원내에 적어도 하나의 할로겐화 금속물을 포함하는 램프
- 제 5,6,7,8 또는 제9항에 있어서, 상기 석영내의 상기 티타늄은 +4의 원자가 상태로 존재하는 램프.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
