Claims (11)
- 에어 쿠션용 팽창기(350)는, 폐쇄된 끝부(352) 및 개방된 대향 끝부(28′) 를 통하여 확장하는 팽창가스를 수용하기 위한 충진수단을 포함하는, 한쪽끝부(352)가 폐쇄된 중공 원통형 슬리브(22′) 슬리브(22′) 안으로 오목화되어서 슬리브의 대향끝부에서 안착되어 있는 중공 다기관 조립체(304)로 구성된 슬리브(22′)를 둘러싸는 발생기 하우징 조립체(80)로 구성되며, 상기 다기관 조립체 및 슬리브가 조절 가능한 압력상태에서 팽창가스를 저장하기 위한 압력용기로 구성되고, 상기 다기관 조립체가 압력용기의 일부를 형성하는 파괴 가능한 디스크(310)로 구성된 깨지기 쉬운 요소에 의해 둘러 싸여진 다기관 개구(308)를 포함하고 있고, 상기 다기관 조립체(304)가 압력용기(20)로부터의 팽창가스의 유동을 제어하기 위한 유동제어수단(320)을 더 포함하고 있으며, 상기 발생기 조립체(80′)가 다기관 조립체(34)안으로 뻗어 있고 다기관 조립체(304)에 안착(고정)된 중공 발생기(82) 하우징, 상기 발생기 하우징(82)내에 잔류하는 일정량의 추진제(100) 그리고 작동중 추진제의 연소를 기폭시키기 저장된 가스를 용접 지점으로 자유롭게 이동시키도록 하는 방식에서 상기 슬리이브에 용접되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스백 팽창기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 발생기 조립체는 다기관 조립체의 개방 끝부안으로 뻗어 있는 중공 발생기 하우징을 포함하고 있고, 제1하우징 끝부와 제2하우징 끝부를 포함하고 있으며, 상기 제1하우징 끝부는 다기관 조립체의 개방끝부와 근접하여 안착되어있고, 상기 제2하우징 끝부는 다기관 개구와 따로 떨어져 위치된 그리고 일반적으로 선형 상태에서 위치된 적어도 하나의 개구를 포함하고 있으며, 여기에서 발생기 하우징 조립체(80)는 제2하우징 끝부(86)와 근접하게 위치된 복수의 트랩개구(96)를 포함하는 입자트랩(94), 일정량으로 형성된 추진제(100), 상기 추진제(100)를 입자트랩안으로 기울게 하도록 하는 탄성요소(102) 그리고 작용중 추진제(100)의 연소를 기폭시키기위한 탄성요소로 이격된 불꽃 액추에이터 수단(110)을 더 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스백 팽창기.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 슬리브(22′)의 상기 폐쇄된 끝부(352)는 내부방향으로 오목화되고 상기 팽창기는 상기 슬리브를 결합하는 디퓨저(130)에 안착시키기 위해 형상에 있어서 상기 폐쇄된 끝부(352)와 일치하는 안착수단(356)을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스백 팽창기.
- 제2항에 있어서, 액추에이터 수단은 추진제(100)으로부터 이격되어 추진제(100)를 면하고 있는 나팔형 노즐(108)을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스백 팽창기.
- 제4항에 있어서, 액추에이터 수단(110)은 나팔형 노즐(108)에서 추진제의 연소를 빠르게 기폭시키기 위한 점화촉진 수단(100)를 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스백 팽창기.
- 제2항에 있어서, 액추에이터 수단은 발생기 하우징(82)내에서 제거 가능하게 수용되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스백 팽창기.
- 제2항에 있어서, 제1하우징 끝부(85)는 디퓨저(130)에 압력용기(20)를 부착시키기 위해서 부착수단을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스백 팽창기.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 디퓨저(130)는 유동제어수단(320)과 연통하고 있고, 압력 용기를 지지하고 팽창가스를 에어쿠션(202) 안으로 인도하며, 상기 디퓨저는 압력용기(20)의 하부부분을 지지하도록 채용된 하부부분(280)을 포함하고 있고, 상기 디퓨저는 압력용기(20)의 상부부분을 따라 정합하도록 채용된 상부부분(182)을 더 포함하고 있으며, 상기 상부부분(182)은 팽창가스가 개구를 가로질러 유동하도록 하는 복수의 개구(200)를 포함하고 있으며, 압력용기를 결합함에 있어서 팽창가스의 난류를 줄이기 위한 수단을 제공하도록 그리고 디퓨저(130)로 팽창가스의 열전달을 줄이도록 압력용기의 상부부분과 근접한 2개의 체적구역(182a,183b)을 한정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스백 팽창기.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 디퓨저(130)는 디퓨저(130)의 몸체부분(140)의 각각의 끝부를 둘러싸기 위해서 발생기 하우징 조립체(80)에 부착된 하나의 캡(134)과 액추에이터 하우징 조립체(30)에 부착된 다른 하나의 캡(132)을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스백 팽창기.
- 제9항에 있어서, 디퓨저(130)은 에어백을 수용하기 위해 그리고 디퓨저를 자동차 지지구조물에 직접 부착시키기위한 수단을 제공하기 위해 디퓨저로부터 뻗어 있는 복수의 볼트(204)와 같은 부착수단(204)을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스백 팽창기.
- 제10항에 있어서, 스크린(312)은 발생기 하우징 끝부(86)에서 적어도 하나의 개구(88,92) 주위에 위치되어 있고 다기관 조립체(304)의 일부분과 정합되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스백 팽창기.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
