Abstract
본 발명은 복수매의 액정표시패널을 구비한 대화면의 표시장치 및 시패널에 관한 것으로서, 종래의 토막토막으로 보이는 화면을 이음매가 보이지않는 연속적인 화면을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한 것이다.
본 발명은 그 구성에 있어서, 플라스틱필름기판으로 이루어진 액정패널의 주변부를 90도, 배면쪽으로 구부리므로써, 표시영역만이 앞면으로 나오도록한 것을 특징으로 하며, 이 액정패널을 인접시켜서 종횡으로 배열하므로써, 이음매가 없는 연속적인 대화면표시를 가능하게 한 표시장치를 제공할 수 있다.

제2도는 본 발명의 실시예의 액정표시패널의 평면도.
제3도는 본 발명의 실시예의 표시장치 및 액정표시패널의 구동회로도.
Claims (8)
- 플라스틱으로 이루어진 2매의 기판사이에 액정을 끼워 유지한 액정패널이 상기 2매의 기판상의 대향하는 표시전극에 의해서 형성된 표시영역의 끝변을 따라서 배면쪽으로 구부려서 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 액정패널의 구부림가공의 끝변에 평행한 표시전극이 상기 액정패널 중앙부의 표시전극보다 폭이 넓은 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제2항에 있어서, 배면쪽으로의 구부림각이 대강 90°인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제3항에 있어서, 적어도 한쪽의 기판이 플라스틱필름인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제4항에 있어서, 액정표시패널의 배면 또는 앞면에 위치한 지지판에 상기 액정패널을 고정시킨 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제5항에 있어서, 배면의 지지판이 광확산판인것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제6항에 있어서, 지지판이 구부림가공되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 복수의 청구범위 제1항기재의 액정표시패널을 구부림가공부끼리를 인접시켜서 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
