Abstract
본 발명은 가정용 디지탈 브이 씨 알의 영상 데이타 처리 기술에 관한 것으로, 화상의 특징을 추출하고 이 값을 참조로 부호화 파라메터를 영상마다 산출하여 영상블록의 비트 배분을 행하여 발생 정보량을 일정 종류로 제한하고, 영상의 통계적 성질을 반영하는 부호량 제어를 수행하여 영상을 압축하므로써 정보량의 제어가 용이하고, 발생된 에러도 블록내에 수렴할 수 있다.

제1도는 일반적인 디지탈 브이 씨 알의 변환 부호화 처리 블록도.
제2도는 제1도에서 비트 비율 압축 엔코더의 블록도.
제3도의 (가) 내지 (다)는 8×8의 휘도신호 블록 4개와 U,V 신호 블록 2개로 구성된 메크로 블록의 예시도.
Claims (1)
- 화상의 특징으로 추출하고 이 값을 참조로 부호화 파라메터를 영상마다 산출하여 영상블록의 비트 배분을 행하여 발생 정보량을 일정 종류로 제한하고, 영상의 통계적 성질을 반영하는 부호량 제어를 수행하여 영상을 압축하는 것을 특징으로하는 가변길의 적응 영상 압축 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
