Abstract

본 발명은 가정용 디지탈 브이 씨 알의 영상 데이타 처리 기술에 관한 것으로, 화상의 특징을 추출하고 이 값을 참조로 부호화 파라메터를 영상마다 산출하여 영상블록의 비트 배분을 행하여 발생 정보량을 일정 종류로 제한하고, 영상의 통계적 성질을 반영하는 부호량 제어를 수행하여 영상을 압축하므로써 정보량의 제어가 용이하고, 발생된 에러도 블록내에 수렴할 수 있다.

본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 일반적인 디지탈 브이 씨 알의 변환 부호화 처리 블록도.
제2도는 제1도에서 비트 비율 압축 엔코더의 블록도.
제3도의 (가) 내지 (다)는 8×8의 휘도신호 블록 4개와 U,V 신호 블록 2개로 구성된 메크로 블록의 예시도.

Claims (1)

  1. 화상의 특징으로 추출하고 이 값을 참조로 부호화 파라메터를 영상마다 산출하여 영상블록의 비트 배분을 행하여 발생 정보량을 일정 종류로 제한하고, 영상의 통계적 성질을 반영하는 부호량 제어를 수행하여 영상을 압축하는 것을 특징으로하는 가변길의 적응 영상 압축 방법.
