Abstract

본 발명은 수압으로 니들링된 섬유상 웹 및 초흡수성 물질을 함유하는 초흡수성 복합 재료의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다. 이 방법은 부직 섬유상 웹을 제공하는 단계, 부직 섬유상 무웹을 수압으로 니들링시켜 그의 액체 분배 특성을 향상시키는 단계 및 건조한 초흡수성 물질로 수압으로 니들링된 섬유상 웹의 적어도 한 표면과 긴밀하게 결합 접촉되도록 도입시키는 단계를 포함한다. 또한, 본 발명은 상기 방법에 의해 제조되는 초흡수성 부직 복합재료에 관한 것이다. 상기 재료의 수압으로 니들링된 섬유상 웹 성분은 펄프 섬유, 합성 섬유, 천연 섬유, 2성분 섬유, 연속 필라멘트 또는 이들의 혼합물을 함유할 수 있다. 초흡수성 복합 재료는 약 500퍼센트를 초과하는 포화능 및 15분 당 약 12cm를 초과하는 위킹 속도를 가진다. 초흡수성 복합 재료는 흡수 제품 또는 흡수 구조물에 액체 처리제로서 사용될 수 있다.

Claims (28)

  1. 부직 섬유상 웹을 제공하는 단계, 상기 부직웹의 액체 분배 특성을 향상시키기에 충분한 에너지 수준에서 상기 부직웹을 수압으로 니들링시키는 단계, 및 건조한 초흡수성 물질을 상기 수압으로 니들링된 부직 섬유상 웹의 적어도 한 표면과 긴밀하게 결합 접촉되도록 도입시켜서 수압으로 니들링된 초흡수성 복합 재료를 형성하는 단계로 이루어지는, 수압으로 니들링된 초흡수성 복합 재료의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 건조한 초흡수성 물질을 수압으로 니들링된 부직 섬유상 웹이 젖어 있는 동안에 상기 웹의 적어도 한 표면상에 도입시키고, 이어서 수압으로 니들링된 부직 섬유상 웹과 초흡수성 물질을 건조시켜 초흡수성 복합 재료를 제조하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 건조한 초흡수성 물질을 실질적으로 건조한 수압으로 니들링된 부직 섬유상 웹의 적어도 한 표면상에 침착시키고, 가입하여 상기 초흡수성 물질을 상기 수압으로 니들링된 부직 섬유상 웹에 밀어 넣음으로써 상기 웹과 긴밀하게 결합 접촉되도록 도입시켜 초흡수성 복합 재료를 제조하는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 부직 섬유상 웹이 섬유로 이루어진 수성 현탁액을 다공 표면상에 침전시킴으로써 제공되는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 부직 섬유상 웹이 펄프 섬유로 이루어지는 시이트를 재수화 시킴으로써 제공되는 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 부직 섬유상 웹이 약 15 내지 약 35중량%의 고형물 농도에서 수압으로 니들링되는 방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서 수압식 니들링이 부직웹의 수직 위킹 특성을 수압으로 니들링되지 않은 동일한 부직웹에 비해 약 10% 이상 향상시키는 에너지 수준으로 이루어지는 방법.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 수압식 니들링이 건조 섬유 453.6g(1파운드)당 약 0.001 내지 약 0.03마력-시간의 에너지 수준으로 이루어지는 방법.
  9. 제4항에 있어서, 다공 표면이 약 20×20 내지 약 200×200의 메시 크기를 갖는 단일 평면 메시, 약 20×20 내지 약 200×200의 유효 메시 크기를 갖는 다층 메시 및 천공 평판으로 이루어지는 군에서 선택되는 방법.
  10. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 섬유가 펄프 섬유, 합성 섬유, 천연 섬유, 2성분 섬유, 연속 필라멘트 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어지는 군 중에서 선택되는 방법.
  11. 제7항에 있어서, 부직 섬유상 웹이 약 20 내지 약 30중량%의 고형물 농도로 있는 동안에 수압으로 니들링되는 방법.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 초흡수성 물질이 약 5중량%이상의 초흡수성 물질을 함유하는 흡수성 부직 복합 재료를 제공하는 양으로 수압으로 니들링된 부직 섬유상 웹이 침착되는 방법.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 초흡수성 물질이 약 10 내지 약 80중량%의 초흡수성 물질을 함유하는 흡수성 부직 복합 재료를 제공하는 양으로 수압으로 니들링된 부직섬유상 웹에 침착되는 방법.
  14. 제12항에 있어서, 초흡수성 입자가 약 30 내지 약 60중량%의 초흡수성 물질을 함유하는 흡수성 부직 복합 재료를 제공하는 양으로 수압으로 니들링된 부직섬유상 웹에 침착되는 방법.
  15. 제1항에 있어서, 건조 단계가 통기식 건조, 적외선 조사, 양키 건조기, 건조통, 마이크로파 및 초음파 에너지로 이루어지는 군 중에서 선택되는 방법을 이용하는 방법.
  16. 제1항에 있어서, 건조 단계후에 기계적 연화 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
  17. 제1항 기재의 방법에 의해 제조되는 수압으로 니들링된 초흡수성 부직 복합 재료.
  18. 제17항에 있어서, 약 10g/㎡을 초과하는 기본 중량을 갖는 초흡수성 부직 복합 재료.

  20. 제17항에 있어서, 폴리에스테르 섬유, 레이욘 섬유, 면 섬유, 폴리아미드 섬유, 아크릴 섬유 및 폴리올레핀 섬유로 이루어지는 군에서 선택된 스테이플장 섬유 약 5 내지 약 50중량%로 이루어진 초흡수성 부직 복합 재료.
  21. 제19항에 있어서, 약 75 내지 약 150g/㎡의 기본 중량을 갖는 초흡수성 부직 복합 재료.
  22. 제17항에 있어서, 약 500 퍼센트를 초과하는 포화능, 및 15분 당 약 12cm를 초과하는 수직 위킹 속도를 갖는 초흡수성 부직 복합 재료.
  23. 제22항에 있어서, 부직웹이 약 600 내지 약 2500퍼센트의 포화능을 갖는 초흡수성 부직 복합 재료.
  24. 제22항에 있어서, 부직웹이 15분당 약 12 내지 약 15cm의 위킹 속도를 갖는 초흡수성 부직 복합 재료.
  25. 제17항에 있어서, 약 5 내지 약 80중량%의 초흡수성 물질을 함유하는 초흡수성 부직 복합 재료.
