Abstract
일정한 크기의 외부 자계를 수직 자화막에 대해 수직 방향으로 인가하면서 정보에 따라 광강도를 강약으로 변조한 광 비임을 상기 수직 자화막에 조사해서, 광강도가 강할 때 광 비임이 조사되고 있는 영역의 수직 자화막의 자화 방향을 외부 자계 방향으로 향하게 하고, 광강도가 약할 때 광 비임이 조사되고 있는 영역의 수직 자화막의 자화 방향을 그 영역의 주위 영역의 자화로 생기는 외부자계의 방향과는 반대 방향의 반자계 방향으로 향하게 함으로써 정보를 개서하는 광자기 기록 방법 및 기체상에 수직 자화막과 면내 자화막을 갖는 광자기 메모리 소자가 제공된다. 상기 구성에 따르면 초기화용 자석을 이용하지 않고 광 변조 기록에 의한 중복 기입이 가능하다.

제 1 도 내지 제 7 도는 본 발명의 제1실시예를 도시한 것으로, 제 1 도는 본 발명의 광자기 기록 방법의 설명도로, ⒜는 광 비임의 광강도의 시간 변화를 ⒝는 수직 자화막의 자화 상태를 도시한 도면,
제 2 도는 제 1 도의 광자기 기록 방법을 상세히 설명하는 설명도로, ⒜는 광 비임의 광강도의 시간변화를, ⒝ 내지 ⒡는 수직 자화막의 자화 상태를 시간 경과에 따라 나타낸 도면,
제 3 도는 광자기 디스크 장치의 개략 구성도.
Claims (12)
- 기체 상에 정보를 기록하는 수직 자화막이 형성된 광자기 메모리 소자를 기록 트랙 방향으로 구동하고, 일정한 크기의 외부 자계를 상기 수직 자화막에 대해 수직 방향으로 인가하면서 정보에 따라 광강도를 강약으로 변조한 광 비임을 상기 수직 자화막에 조사해서, 광강도가 강할 때 광 비임이 조사되고 있는 영역의 수직 자화막의 자화 방향을 외부 자계 방향으로 향하게 하고, 광강도가 약할 때 광 비임이 조사되고 있는 영역의 수직 자화막의 자화 방향을 그 영역의 주위 영역의 자화로 생기는 외부자계의 방향과는 반대 방향의 반자계 방향으로 향하게 함으로써 정보를 개서하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 광 비임에 의해 수직 자화막 상에 형성되는 광 스폿은 긴 원형으로 되고, 긴 원형의 장축이 기록 트랙에 대략 평행해지도록 세트되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 방법.
- 기체 상에 정보를 기록하는 수직 자화막과 상기 수직 자화막의 막면에 대해 수직방향으로 고르게 자화된 바이러스 자성막이 형성된 광자기 메모리 소자를 기록 트랙 방향으로 구동하고, 정보에 따라 광강도를 강약으로 변조한 광 비임을 상기 수직 자화막에 조사해서, 광강도가 강할 때 광 비임이 조사되고 있는 영역의 수직 자화막의 자화 방향을 바이어스 자성막의 자화 방향에 따라 결정되는 방향으로 향하게 하고, 광강도가 약할 때 광 비임이 조사되고 있는 영역의 수직 자화막의 자화 방향을 그 영역 주위의 영역의 자화로 생기는 바이어스 자성막의 자화방향에 따라 결정되는 방향과는 반대 방향인 반자계 방향으로 향하도록 함으로써 정보를 개서하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 방법.
- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 광 비임에 의해 수직 자화막 상에 형성되는 광 스폿은 긴 원형으로 되고, 긴 원형의 장축이 기록 트랙에 대략 평행해지도록 세트되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 방법.
- 광 투과성이 있는 기체와, 이 기체상에 형성되고 수직 자화막을 갖는 광자기 기록 매체층과, 광자기 기록 매체층 상에 형성된 제1면내 자화막으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 메모리 소자.
- 제 5항에 있어서, 상기기체와 상기 광자기 기록 매체층 사이에 투광성이 있는 제1면재 자화막이 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 메모리 소자.
- 제 6항에 있어서, 상기 제1면내 자화막의 막두께는 20nm이하로 설정되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 메모리 소자.
- 제 5항 또는 제 6항에 있어서, 광자기 기록 매체층은 제1유전체 막, 수직 자화막, 제2유전체막을 기체측으로부터 차례로 적층하여 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 메모리 소자.
- 제 5항 또는 제 6항에 있어서, 광자기 기록 매체층은 제1유전체 막, 수직 자화막, 제2유전체막, 반사막을 기체측으로부터 차례로 적층하여 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 메모리 소자.
- 광 투광성이 있는 기체, 제1유전체막, 수직 자화막, 제2면내 자화막, 제2유전체막을 기체측으로부터 차례로 형성하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 메모리 소자.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 제1유전체막과 수직 자화막 사이에 투광성이 있는 제1면내 자화막이 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 메모리 소자.
- 제10항 또는 제11항에 있어서, 상기 제2유전체막 상에 반사막이 형성되고, 상기 제2면내 자화막은 투광성을 지니는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 메모리 소자.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
