Claims (16)

  1. (a) 천연 또는 합성 발라타; (b) 불포화 지방산의 금속염과 교차 결합할 수 있는 엘라스토머; (c) 교차 결합제로서 불포화 지방산의 금속염; 및 (d) 자유 라디칼의 원을 제공하는 교차 결합 개시제로 이루어진 조성물로 부터 형성된 커버 및 코어로 구성되는 골프공.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 엘라스토머가 폴리부타디엔 및 폴리옥텐일렌으로 구성된 군으로 부터 선택됨을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 천연 또는 합성 발라타가 중합체의 총중량의 25 내지 99%의 양으로 존재하고, 교차 결합성 엘라스토머가 중합체의 총중량의 1 내지 75%의 양으로 존재함을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 교차 결합제가 칼슘 및 마그네슘으로 이루어진 금속염의 군으로 부터 선택됨을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 교차 결합제가 모노카르복실산의 아연염, 칼슘염 및 마그네슘염으로 구성된 군으로 부터 선택됨을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 교차결합 개시제가 유기 과산화물임을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 코어가 고체 코어임을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 코어가 중심 및 중심 표면의 탄성 와인딩 층으로 이루어진 2조각 코어임을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 교차결합성 엘라스토머가 폴리부타디엔임을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 폴리부타디엔이 적어도 40%의 시스 함량을 갖는 시스 1,4-폴리부타디엔임을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  11. (a) 25내지 99 중량부의 천연 또는 합성 발라타; (b) 불포화 지방산의 금속염과 교차결합 할 수 있는 1 내지 75 중량부의 엘라스토머; (c) 교차 결합제로서 20 내지 50 중량부의 불포화 지방산의 금속염; 및 (d) 자유 라디칼의 원을 제공하는 3/4 내지 3-l/2 중량부의 교차 결합 개시제로 이루어진 조성물로 부터 형성된 커버 및 코어로 구성되는 골프공.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 교차결합성 엘라스토머가 폴리부타디엔임을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 폴리부타디엔이 적어도 40%의 시스 함량을 갖는 시스 1,4-폴리부타디엔임을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  14. 천연 또는 합성 발라타와 교차결합성 엘라스토머의 혼합물로 부터 골프공을 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 교차 결합제로서 불포화 지방산의 금속염 및 교차결합 개시제로서 자유 라디칼의 원의 포함으로 이루어지는 개선된 방법.
  15. (a) 발라타, 교차결합성 엘라스토머, 교차결합제로서 불포화 지방산의 금속염, 및 자유 라디칼의 원을 제공하는 교차결합 개시제의 혼합물을 생성시키고; (b) 혼합물을 제분시켜서 혼합된 조성물을 생성시키고; (c) 골프공 둘레에서 혼합 조성물을 성형시켜서 교차결합성 엘라스토머를 교차결합시키는 단계로 이루어지는, 골프공을 제조하는 방법.
  16. 제15항에 있어서, 약 5 내지 10분동안 약 250 내지 350℉의 온도하에 성형을 수행함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
