Claims (10)

  1. 실질적으로 원소 알칼리 금속 없는 알루미나 기재 촉매의 존재하에, 에틸렌과 하나이상의 올레핀을 접촉시킴으로써 적어도 하나의 알릴릭 수소원자를 갖는 올레핀을 에틸화하기 위한 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 알루미나 기재 촉매가 3×10-5g/㎡ 이하의 단위 표면적당 나트륨 함량을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 알루미나 기재 촉매가 2×10-5g/㎡ 이하의 단위표면적당 나트륨 함량을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 방법
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 알루미나 기재 촉매가 50㎡/g-400㎡/g 범위내표면적을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 알루미나 기재의 촉매가, 금속이 칼륨, 루비듐, 세슘 및 이들의 혼합물로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되는 하소시 산화물로 분해 가능한 적어도 하나의 상기 금속 화합물로 알루미나 지지체를 함칭시키고 연속적으로 함침된 지지체를 500-700℃의 온도에서 하소시킴으로써 얻어질 수 있음을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 알루미나 지지체에 첨가되는 금속 화합물(들)이 탄산 칼륨, 카르복실산 칼륨, 질산 칼륨 및 이들의 혼합물로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되는 방법.
  7. 제5항에 있어서, 알루미나 지지체에 첨가되는 금속 화합물(들)이 탄산 칼륨, 카르복실산 칼륨, 질산 칼륨 및 이들의 혼합물로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되는 방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 알루미나 지지체에 첨가되는 금속 화합물이 탄산 칼륨임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제1항 내지 제8항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 올레핀이 8-18개 탄소 원자를 갖는 선형 및/또는 분지형 올레핀으로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 제1항 내지 제9항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 에틸화가 150-300℃범위내 온도 및 35.5바아(500psig)-138.9바아(2000psig)범위내 압력에서 수행됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
