Claims (10)

  1. 붕소의 존재하에, 산소를 함유하는 분위기 및 약 600℃~약 1600℃ 범위의 온도에서, 화학적 산화 반응에 의해 유리 코팅을 생성하기에 충분한 시간동안 소결된 비-산화 세라믹 섬유를 가열하는 것을 특징으로 하는 비-산화 소결 세라믹 섬유의 코팅방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 반응이 공기 또는 순수한 산소로 구성된 군으로 부터 선택된 분위기에서 일어나며, 이러한 산소 함유 분위기는 산소, 수소, 질소, 이산화탄소, 일산화탄소, 불활성이면서 영족 기체 및 그의 조합물로 구성된 군으로 부터 선택되는 기체를 함유하며, 붕소는 붕소, 탄화붕소, 산화붕소, 붕산염, 붕규산염, 질화붕소 및 그의 조합물로 구성된 군으로 부터 선택되는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 붕소원이 비-산화 세라믹 섬유의 외부에 존재하거나, 비-산화 세라믹 섬유가 붕소원을 함유하는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 유리 코팅의 두께가 섬유의 그레인 크기의 1/10이하이고, 섬유의 그레인 크기가 5미크론 이하인 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 세라믹 섬유가 코팅되기에 앞서 알루미늄, 붕소, 크롬, 하프늄, 몰리브덴, 니오브, 규소, 탄탈, 티탄, 텅스텐, 바나듐, 지그코늄 및 그의 조합물로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 서로 다른 원소의 붕소화물, 탄화물, 질화물 또는 규화물로 이루어진 비-산화 섬유로 부터 소결되는 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 화학적 산화 반응이 약 800℃~약 1000℃ 범위의 온도에서 일어나며, 화학적 산화반응이 약 1분 ~약 1시간 동안 일어나고, 유리 코팅의 두께가 약 10A~약 15000A 범위인 방법.
  7. 붕소, 탄화붕소, 산화붕소, 붕산염, 붕규산염, 질화붕소 및 그의 조합물로 구성된 군으로 부터 선택한 붕소의 존재하에, 공기 또는 순수한 산소로 구성된 군으로 부터 선택된 산소를 산소를 함유하는 분위기(이러한 산소함유 분위기는 산소, 수소, 질소, 이산화탄소, 일산화탄소, 불활성이면서 영족 기체 및 그의 조합물로 구성된 군으로 부터 선택된 기체를 함유한다)에서 소결된 비-산화 세라믹 섬유를 가열함으로써 형성된 산화 반응 생성물로 이루어진 유리 코팅된 비-산화 소결 세라믹 섬유.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 붕소원이 비-산화 세라믹 섬유의 외부에 존재하거나, 비-산화 세라믹 섬유가 붕소원을 함유하는 유리 코팅된 비-산화 소결 세라믹 섬유.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 유리 코팅의 두께가 섬유의 그레인 크기의 1/10이하이고, 섬유의 그레인 크기가 1미크론 이하인 유리 코팅된 비-산화 소결 세라믹 섬유.
  10. 제7항에 있어서, 세라믹 섬유가 붕소화티탄, 탄화규소, 탄화붕소 및 질화알루미늄으로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되고, 화학적 산화 반응이 약 800℃~약 1000℃ 범위의 온도에서 일어나며, 화학적 산화 반응이 약 1분 ~약 1시간 동안 일어나고, 유리 코팅의 두께가 약 10A~약 15000A 범위인 유리 코팅된 비-산화 소결 세라믹 섬유.
