Claims (11)

  1. 피복된 안료의 제타 전위측정에 의해 결정된 등전점이 pH 8내지 9.5임을 특징으로 하는, 크롬 화합물로 피복된 침상(needle shape)자기 산화철 안료.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 크롬 함량이 산화철 안료의 중량을 기준하여 0.1내지 10중량%인 자기 산화철 안료.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 크롬 함량이 산화철 안료의 중량을 기준하여 0.5내지 3중량%인 자기 산화철 안료.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 산화철 안료가 r-Fe2O3안료인 자기 산화철 안료.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 산화철 안료가 베르톨라이드 산화철 안료인 자기 산화철 안료.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 산화철 안료를 코발트로 용적-도핑한 자기 산화철 안료.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 산화철 안료를 코발트로 표면-피복시킨 자기 산화철 안료.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 산화철 안료가 Fe3O4안료인 자기 산화철 안료.
  9. 크롬화합물을 pH 3내지 10범위의 알칼리를 가하여 크롬(III) 용액으로부터 침전시킴을 특징으로하는, 제1항의 크롬-피복된 산화철 안료의 제조 방법.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 알칼리를 pH6내지 8의 범위로 가하는 방법.
  11. 제1항의 크롬-피복된 산화철 안료를 함유하는 자기 테이프.
