제2도는 본발명의 다른 실시예에 의한 디이젤 엔진의 연소실의 형상을 표시한 단면도.
제3도는 제2도에 표시한 연소실의 직경과 면적과의 관계를 표시한 그래프.
Claims (5)
- 피스톤 정상부에 있는 원형상의 움패임의 바닥면 중앙이, 추형상으로 솟아 오른 돌기로 형성되고, 이 돌기에 이어지는 둘레가장자리부가 원호 형상으로 형성되어서 측벽면에 연속되는 형상을 가진 직접분사식 디이젤엔진의 연소실에 있어서, 돌기는, 급한 구배면으로 형성되어 있는 바닥면쪽에 위치하는 아래부와 완만한 구배면을 가진 원추 대형으로 형성되어있는 정상부쪽에 위치하는 상부를 연속시켜서 조합되고, 원추 대형의 꼭지각은 분사노즐의 원뿔각보다도 10∼30°작게되고, 그리고, 연소실의 측벽면과 이 측벽면에 대향하는 하부 구배면과의 벌어짐각을 0∼30°로 설정되어있는 것을 특징으로 하는 디이젤엔진의 연소실.
- 제1항에 있어서, 돌기의 하부와 측벽면에 연속되는 움패임 부분의 바닥면은 원추방향을 따라서 구체를 굴렀을때에 만들어지는 형상으로 형성되고, 이 바닥면은, 연소실의 개구단부의 내경(D2)에 대하여 반경을 R=0.12D∼0.18D의 관계를 가지게 한것을 특징으로하는 디이젤 엔진의 연소실.
- 제1항에 있어서, 측벽면의 리엔트런트각을 20∼25°로 설정되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 디이젤엔진의 연소실.
- 제1항 및 제3항에 있어서, 돌기는, 그 높이를 분사노즐로부터의 연료의 분사를 방해하지않는 위치에 까지 연장되어 있는 것을 특징으로하는 디이젤엔진의 연소실.
- 제1항에 있어서, 돌기의 하부 측벽면에 연속되는 움패인부분의 바닥면은, 상기 측벽면에 연달아 형성되는 바깥쪽의 곡면(2′d)를 반경 R1로 형성시키고, 상기 하부에 연달아 형성되는 안쪽의 곡면(2′e)를 반경 R2로 형성하고, 상기 반경 R1과 상기 반경 R2와의 중심을 거리 a만을 떨어지게해서, 상기 바깥쪽의 곡면(2′d)와 상기 안쪽의 곡면(2′e)와의 사이에 평탄부(2′f)를 형성한 것을 특징으로하는 디이젤 엔진의 연소실.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
