제1도는 본 발명의 일실시예의 적외광파이버의 압출장치의 개략 단면도.
제2도는 동 실시예에 있어서의 적외광 파이버의 직경과 반복굴곡시험의 투과율의 경과시 변화의 관계를 나타낸 특성도.
제3도는 염화은-브롬화은 단결정의 브롬화은 농도에 대한 결정의 탄성한계 응력·파단응력과 적외광파이버의 파단응력을 나타낸 특성도.

Claims (5)

  1. 염화은과 브롬화은 조성비율이 염화은 30내지 70중량%이고 직경이 0.35㎜ 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 적외광파이버.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 적외광파이버의 흡수계수가 10-3(1/㎝) 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 적외광파이버.
  3. 할로겐화은 결정과 이것을 다이스에 의해 열간 압출함으로써 선상(線狀)의 적외광파이버를 형성시키고 상기 적외광파이버의 항복응력이상에서 파단응력이하의 인장하중을 적외광파이버에 부가시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 광외광파이버의 제조방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 할로겐화 금속은은 염화은과 브롬화은의 조성비율이 염화은 30 내지 70중량%인 것을 특징으로 하는 적외광파이버의 제조방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 다이스의 구경(口徑)이 0.35㎜이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 적외광파이버의 제조방법.
