Claims (14)

  1. 코어 및 클래딩을 구비하는 광 파이버와 그를 둘러싸는 피복 시스템을 포함하는 광 전도 매체에 있어서, 주피복 재료가 광 파이버로부터 제거된 후에 광파이버상에 끈끈한 잔류물을 남기지 않을 두께이고, 시간 , 모듈러스 스펙트럼, 유리전이 온도 및 접착제가 비교적 다습하고 비교적 긴 경년 조건하에서 유지되는 면에서 일정하며, 소정 온도 범위에 걸쳐 마이크로 벤딩에 대해 적당한 내성을 제공하는 모듈러스 스펙트럼 및 유리 전이 온도를 가지고, 광 파이버 및 주피복 재료간의 계면에서 거의 균질하고 연속적이며 박리안되는 이질 재료로된 접착제가 제공된 광파이버와 결합하여 둘러싸고 있는 주피복 재료와 충분히 낮은 유리 전이 온도를 가져서 광 파이버로부터 피복 시스템이 박리되는 것을 방해하고 마이크로 벤딩에 대한 적절한 내성을 제공하는 주피복 재료를 둘러싸는 보조 피복 재료인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 전도 매체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 주피복 재료가 7내지 150psi 범위의 평형 모듈러스이며 유리전이 온도는 약 -40℃인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 전도 매체.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 예정 온도 범위가 하한치는 -40℃의 값을 초과하지 않고, 상한치는 약 85℃를 넘지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 전도매체.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 보조 피복 재료는 시간에 따라 이완되고 비교적 연하게 되도록 하기에 충분히 낮으면서 광 파이버가 완전히 둘러싸인 상태로 처리되게 하는 유리 전이 온도인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 전도매체.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 보조 피복 재료가 약 20℃내지 약 60℃정도내의 유리 전이 온도이고 평형 모듈러스는 약 1000내지 5000psi 정도내인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 전도매체.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 보조 피복 재료가 광 파이버로부터 피복 시스템의 벗김을 용이하게 하도록 충분히 낮은 연신율인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 전도매체.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 보조 피복 재료의 연신율이 약 40%이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 전도매체.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 접착성은 견인력이 약 1내지 5파운드의 센티미터당 힘의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 전도매체.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 주 코팅의 모듈러스가 작동 온도 범위를 통하여 비교적 짧은 시간의 평형값으로 완화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광전도 매체.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 비교적 짧은 시간은 약 48시간인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 전도매체.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 피복 재료의 각각이 경화 재료인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 전도매체.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 피복재료의 각각은 방사 경화성이 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 전도 매체.
  13. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 보조 피복 재료의 상기 연신율이 약 30%이고, 벗겨질 수 있는 치수는 약 0.6 내지 약 2정도내의 조사량 요소에서 및 시간에 대해 일정한 것을 특징으로 하는 광 전도매체.
  14. 제12항에 있어서, 약 0.1 내지 2인 조사량 요소의 범위에 걸쳐 있는 상기 주피복 재료의 모듈러스가 일정한 것을 특징으로 하는 광 전도매체.
