Claims (11)

  1. 일반식(Ⅰ)의 사이클로프로필알킬 또는 사이클로프로필알케닐 화합물.
    상기식에서, R1은 탄소수 2 내지 16의 (비대칭 탄소원자가 있거나 없는)직쇄 또는 측쇄 알킬 또는 알케닐(여기에서, 하나 또는 두개의 인접하지 않은 -CH2- 그룹은 -O-, -S-, -CO-, -CO-O-, -O-CO- 또는 -O-CO-O에 의해 치환될 수 있고 H는 F에 의해 치환될 수 있다)이거나 라디칼
    중의 하나이고, A1, A2및 A3는 동일하거나 상이하고 비치환되거나, 모노-또는 디할로-치환된 1,4-페닐텐, 비치환되거나 1-또는 4-CN-치환된 1,4-사이클로헥실렌, 피라진-2,5-디일, 피리다진-3,6-디일, 피리딘-2,5-디일, 피리미딘-2,5-디일 또는 (1,3,4)-티아디아졸-2,5-디일이며, M1및 M2는 동일하거나 상이하고, CO-O, O-CO, CO-S, S-CO, CH2-O, O-CH2, C=C, CH2-CH2또는 단일 결합이며, G는 탄소수 1 내지 16의 직쇄 또는 측쇄 알킬렌 또는 탄소수 2 내지 16의 알케닐렌 (여기에서, 하나 또는 두개의 인접하지 않는 -CH2- 그룹은 -O-, -S-, -O-CO-, -CO-O-, -S-CO- 또는 -CO-S-에 의하여 치환될 수 있다)이며, R2, R3및 R4은 H이거나 탄소수 1 내지 16의 직쇄 또는 측쇄 알킬 또는 탄소수 2 내지 16의 알케닐(여기에서, 하나의 -CH2- 그룹은 -O-, -CO-O-, 또는 -O-CO-에 의해 치환될 수 있다)이며, k 및 m은 0 또는 1이매, j, ℓ 및 n 0.1 또는 2이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 일반식(Ⅰ)에서 그룹 (-A1)J(-M1)K(-A2)I(-M2)M(-A3)M-이 하기의 그룹인 화합물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 일반식(Ⅰ)에서 그룹 R1(-A1)J(-M1)K(-A2)I(-M2)M(-A3)M-이 하기의 그룹인 화합물.
  4. 제1항 내지 3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 일반식(Ⅰ)에서, A1, A2및 A3가 동일하거나 상이하고 모노- 또는 디플루오로-치환된 1,4-페닐렌, 비치환된 1,4-페닐렌, 1,4-사이클로헥실렌, 피리딘-2,5-디일 또는 피리미딘-2,5-디일인 화합물.
  5. 일반식(Ⅱ)의 메소제닉, 일작용성의 반응성 모(母)화합물을 일반식(Ⅲ)의 일작용성이 반응성 사이 클로로프로필알킬 화합물과 반응시킬을 특징으로 하여 제1항 내지 3항중 어느 한 항에 따른 일반식(Ⅰ)의 사이클로프로필알킬 또는 사이클로로프로필알케닐 화합물을 제조하는 방법.
    R1(-A1)J(-M1)K(-A2)I(-M2)M(-A3)M-X
    상기식에서, R1,R2,R3,R4,A1,A2,A3,M1,M2,G,k,m,f,ℓ 및 n은 전술한 바와 같고, X는 OH, O-(알칼리금속), COOH 또는 CCO-(알칼리금속)이며, Y는 H,OH,알칼리금속, 할로겐, 톨루엔설포닐옥시 또는 메틸설포닐옥시와 같은, 반응도중에 방출되는 치환체이다.
  6. 올레핀을 출발물질로 사용하여 시몬스-스미드(Simmons-Smith) 반응에 의해 제1항 내지 3항줄 어느 한항에 따른 일반식(Ⅰ)의 사이클로프로필알킬 또는 사이클로프로필알케닐 화합물을 제조하는 방법.
  7. 액정 혼합물중의 성분으로서, 제1항 내지 3항중 어느 한 항에 따른 일반식(Ⅰ)의 사이클로프로필알킬 또는 사이클로프로필알케닐 화합물의 용도.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 액정 혼합물이 네마틱인 용도.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 액정 혼합물이 스메틱, 특히 키랄 스메틱, 바람직하게는 강유전성인 용도.
  10. 제1항 내지 3항중 어느 한 항에 따른 일반식(Ⅰ)의 사이클로프로필알킬 또는 사이클로프로필알케닐 화합물을 적어도 하나 함유하는 액정 혼합물.
  11. 제10항에 따른 액정 혼합물을 함유하는 전자광학 성분.
