제4도 및 제5도는 물 차단 강도부재 시스템을 포함하는 본 발명의 또 하나의 케이블의 투시도 및 단면도,
제6도는 제4도 및 제5도의 물 차단 강도부재 시스템의 부분의 투시도.
Claims (10)
- 플라스틱 물질을 포함하고 코아를 둘러싼 재킷과, 종방향 축을 갖는 코아와, 적어도 하나의 통신 매체를 포함하는 통신 케이블에 있어서, 종방향으로 연장된 비교적 유연한 강도부재 시스템은, 상기 코아와 상기 재킷 사이에 배치되고, 상기 케이블에 적절한 강도 특성을 제공하기 위해 비교적 높은 모듈러스를 가지며, 물차단 설비가 제공된 것을 특징으로 하는 통신 케이블.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 비교적 유연한 강도부재 시스템은 초흡수물질로 처리된 섬유 물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 통신 케이블.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 비교적 유연한 강도부재시스템은 필라멘터리(filamentary) 물 차단 물질로 감싸진 섬유물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 통신 케이블.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코아는 종방향으로 연장된 중앙부재의 주위에 정렬된 다수의 광 섬유를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 통신 케이블.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코아는, 각각 비교적 높은 모듈러스를 갖는 다수의 섬유 강도부재를 포함하고 물 차단 설비가 제공된 강도부재 시스템에 의해 둘러싸인 것을 특징으로 하는 통신 케이블.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 섬유 강도부재 시스템은 초홉수 물질로 처리된 것을 특징으로 하는 통신 케이블.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 섬유 강도부재 시스템은, 각각의 주위에 필라멘터리 물 차단 섬유 물질로 감싸진 다수의 섬유 부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 통신 케이블.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 케이블은 중앙 부재와, 상기 중앙 부재 주위에 배치된 다수의 광섬유 콤포넨트와, 강도부재 시스템과 플라스틱 재킷을 포함하고, 종방향으로 연장된 보충적 물 차단 부재는 상기 강도부재 시스템과 상기 코아의 사이에 배치된 것을 특징을 하는 통신 케이블.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 다수의 광섬유 콤포넨트는, 다수의 비교적 유연한 강도부재를 포함하는 강도부재 시스템과 상기 플라스틱 재킷에 의해 둘러싸인 것을 특징으로 하는 통신 케이블.
