Claims (3)
- 지지장치(58)이 폴드 포일스프립(fold foil strip)의 폴드 (50)의 맞서는 단부와 맞물림으로써 서로에 대한 세로 운동이 방해되는 폴드 포일스트립으로 형성된 촉매변환기 기체 (22)에 있어서, 기체(22)가 정렬되어 서로 접혀져 있는 두 개의 평평한 포일 스트립(36,38)과 한개의 파형포일 스트립(40)으로 구성되어 각 평평한 포일스트립(36,38)이 근본적으로 U모양 전단면을 갖는 일련의 나란한 직사각형 유니트로 구성되고, 두 개의 평평한 스트립(36,38)로 구성된 폴드구조(fold structure)가 서로에 대해 끼워지고, 그리고 파형스트립(40)이 끼워진 폴드구조사이에 놓여 그것을 분리하도록 전방 및 후방으로 번갈아 가면서 접혀져, 파형스트립(40)과 평평한 스트립(36,38) 사의이 통로(54)를 한정하도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매변환기 기체(catalytic converter substrate).
- 제1항에 있어서, 파형스트립(40)의 각 폴드(50)이 폴드(44)둘레에 형성되어 각각의 평평한 폴드포일(36, 38)의 각 유니트의 나란한 측부사이에서 폴드(44)를 크램프하는 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매변환기기체.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 각 폴드구조내의 각 직각형유니트의 폭(W)가 인접한 직사각형 유니트와 크기면에서 구별되는데, 이 크기 차이가 기체(22)에 대한 소정의 절단면모양에 의해서 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매변환기기체.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
