  1. 주절삭날(13)과 부절삭날(14)의 사이에 코오너알날(15)이 형성되고, 이들 주 절삭날, 부절삭날 및 코오너알날의 각 플랭크(16)(17)(18)에 정의 릴리이프각이 부여되어서 이루어지는 포지티브 슬로아웨이팁에 있어서, 상기한 주 절삭날(13), 부절삭날(14) 및 코오너알날(15)의 각 플랭크(16)(17)(18)의 릴리이프각을 각각(α),(β),(θ)로 하면, α<β<θ로 되도록 각 릴리이프각을 설정한 것을 특징으로하는 포지티브 슬로아웨이팁.
