Claims (8)

  1. 4-메틸사이클로헥사-3,5-디엔-1,2-디올-1-카복실산의 수용액으로 구성된 반응배지를 만든다음 수용액의 pH를 상기 카복실산이 p- 크레졸로 전환되기에 충분한 pH치로 산성화시키는 것으로 구성된 p-크레졸의 제법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서 4-메틸사이클로헥사-3,5-디엔-1,2-디올-1-카복실산의 수용액이 p-크실렌의 미생물학적 전환으로 부터 유래되는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서 4-메틸사이클로헥사-3,5-디엔-1,2-디올-1-카복실산의 p-크레졸로의 전환이 pH 약 3이하에서 수행되는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 4-메틸사이클로헥사-3,5-디엔-1,2-디올-1-카복실산의 p-크레졸로의 전환이 온도 약 0-100℃에서 수행되는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서 4-메틸사이클로헥사-3,5-디엔-1,2-디올-1-카복실산의 p-크레졸로의 전환이 정량적으로 이루어지는 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 수성배지를 고체흡착제와 접촉시켜 수성배지로 부터 p-크레졸생성물을 제거하는 방법.
  7. 제5항에 있어서 상기 흡착제가 목탄인 방법.
