ABTS 라디칼 소거능 측정에서도 DPPH 라디칼 소거능과 마찬가지로 추출 시간이 증가됨에 따라 소거능이 높아졌으며, 결과적으로 열수를 추출 용매로 사용하는 커피나무 잎 추출에서는 최소 60분 이상의 가열 추출 시간이 필요함을 확인할 수 있었다.
