Abstract

The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for promoting hair growth and preventing hair loss. Minoxidil, which is widely used for pharmacotherapy, was originally used as a therapeutic agent for hypertension, but it was started to be used as a hair growth promoting agent due to the fact that hair growth was reported as a side effect. Minoxidil has been applied to male hormonal alopecia, which has been shown to be effective in treating both alopecia areata, but it is less effective for alopecia areata. It is also unsuitable for long-term use due to potential side effects such as hypotonia caused by antihypertensive action, hypotension, tachycardia, and cardiovascular complications. Pinasteride, which inhibits the production, binding and metabolism of the androgen, a male hormone, can lead to feminization of males and the problem of birth defects in fertile women is a problem. As such, drug therapy using a chemical causes imbalance of homeostasis in the body, and various unexpected side effects occur. Therefore, studies on hair growth and hair growth using natural materials without side effects have been actively conducted.

Recently, herbal shampoos and hair growth agents containing a composition for hair growth using a mixed extract of various herbal medicines including ginseng as a raw material have attracted much attention. However, these compositions provide nutrients to hair follicles and hair follicles and improve blood flow to prevent hair loss and promote hair growth, so that systematic verification of effective ingredients has not been achieved. In recent years, in order to strengthen specific ginsenosides of ginseng, various studies have been carried out on the ginseng to be dried and processed into red ginseng and black ginseng to be used as materials for cosmetics. However, when the ginseng is processed to enhance specific ginsenosides, the content of other ginsenosides decreases when specific ginsenosides are produced or fortified. Therefore, it is difficult to investigate the effect of various mixtures of ginsenosides.

The pharmacological effects of various single components of ginsenoside isolated from red ginseng and ginseng have already been scientifically verified and a lot of development has been made on hair cosmetic compositions and skin cosmetic compositions containing them, There is not much research on the complex action of certain ginsenosides that can be made.

The present inventors have completed the present invention by confirming that the combination of ginsenosides Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 shows excellent hair growth promotion and hair loss prevention effects through various ginsenosides.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a cosmetic composition excellent in hair growth promoting and hair loss prevention effects by effectively blending specific ginsenosides derived from red ginseng and ginseng.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a cosmetic composition for promoting hair growth and hair restoration comprising a complex of ginsenosides Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 as an active ingredient.

The ginsenosides Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 are mixed in a weight ratio of 1 to 3: 1 to 3: 1 to 3: 1 to 3, more preferably 2 to 3: 1 to 2: 3: 3 ratio.

The ginsenoside Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 complexes are contained in an amount of 0.005 to 20% by weight, preferably 0.01 to 10% by weight, based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition.

The cosmetic composition of the present invention containing the ginsenoside Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 complexes has no side effects or toxicity on the human body and is excellent in hair growth and hair loss prevention effect, and thus can be usefully used as a cosmetic for hair care.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail.

The present invention relates to a technique of using a specific ginsenoside compound, ginsenoside Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3, as cosmetics for promoting hair growth and preventing hair loss.

Ginsenoside contained as an active ingredient in the cosmetic composition of the present invention is a kind of saponin which is a kind of glycoside and is derived from roots, stems, leaves, husks and seeds of plants. There are various kinds of ginsenosides such as ginsenosides Rb1, Rb2, Rc, Rd, Re, Rg1 and the like. There are various kinds of ginsenosides such as ginsenosides The kinds and contents of senosides are different.

Compositions were prepared by selecting ginsenosides Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 through various hair growth and hair loss prevention experiments using various ginsenosides, and they were mixed at various ratios to confirm hair growth promotion and hair loss prevention effect.

Ginsenoside Rb1 is a kind of protopanaxadiol belonging to the dammarane system among saponins. This compound is especially known for its excellent central nervous system sedation and anti-inflammatory properties.

Ginsenoside Rc is known to be a substance that acts to inhibit the central nervous system, inhibit RNA synthesis, stimulate serum protein synthesis, activate plasmin, and stimulate the release of adrenocorticotropic hormone.

 Ginsenoside Rh1 is known as a substance having liver protection, antitumor action and platelet aggregation inhibitory activity.

Ginsenoside Rg3 is a specific component present in red ginseng. The main saponin ginsenoside Rg3, which is converted during the production of red ginseng, has been reported to have physiological activity effects such as anti-cancer, anti-anemia, anti-pain, anti-obesity, anti-stress and immunity enhancement.

According to one embodiment of the present invention, the ginsenosides Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 complexes as active ingredients of the cosmetic composition of the present invention have ginsenosides Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 of 1 to 3: 1 to 3: 1 To 3: 1 to 3 by weight. More preferably 2 to 3: 1 to 2: 2 to 3: 3, the effect of promoting hair growth and preventing hair loss is more excellent.

The complex of ginsenosides Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 as an active ingredient is contained in an amount of 0.005 to 20% by weight, preferably 0.01 to 10% by weight, based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition.

The formulations of the cosmetic composition of the present invention are not particularly limited and may have formulations such as hair conditioner, hair tonic, hair cream, hair lotion, hair oil, hair spray, shampoo, rinse and the like.

In the composition of each formulation, an arbitrary component can be selected and mixed depending on the formulation of the cosmetic composition, the purpose of use, and the like. For example, colorants, flavors, suspending agents, emulsifiers, solubilizers, stabilizers, isotonic agents, pH adjusting agents, viscosity adjusting agents, solvents and the like. In addition, it may further include other components having a hair growth promoting effect or hair loss preventing effect.

The cosmetic composition comprising the complex of ginsenosides Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 of the present invention as an active ingredient was excellent in hair growth activity, and clinical examination results showed that the hair density was improved and hair loss prevention effect was confirmed.

The ginsenosides Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 were purchased from ChromaDex and mixed in the ratios shown in Table 1 below to prepare ginsenoside composites of the same weight.

Comparative Example  1: Preparation of red ginseng extract

The dried red ginseng was washed with purified water, dried and crushed into small pieces, and then added to 1 L of 80% ethanol. The mixture was extracted for 1 hour at 65 ° C for 4 hours and filtered to obtain red ginseng extract.

Test Example  One: Promoting hair growth  exam

Using the shampoo containing the complex of ginsenosides Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 of Examples 1 to 10, the red ginseng extract of Comparative Example 1 and the ginsenoside composite of Comparative Examples 2 to 7, Respectively.

As shown in Tables 5 and 6, the composite of ginsenosides Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 of the above example is superior to the mixture of red ginseng extract of Comparative Example 1 and some ginsenosides of Comparative Examples 2 to 7 It can be seen that it exhibits hair growth activity. In particular, the complexes of Examples 3 to 8, in which the blending ratio of each ginsenoside corresponds to 2: 3: 1 to 2: 2 to 3: 3, exhibited excellent hair growth activity, and the blending ratio of 2: 1: 2: 3 Showed the best activity in Example 5. As a result, the hair growth promoting effect of the complex consisting of ginsenosides Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 was confirmed.

Test Example  2: Clinical trial

Clinical trials were conducted using a shampoo composition containing the ginsenoside complex of Example 5 to clinically confirm the anti-depilation effect of the ginsenosides Rb1, Rc, Rh1 and Rg3 complexes of the above Examples. As a control, a shampoo composition not containing the ginsenoside composite was used.

To examine the efficacy against hair loss prevention effect, a total of 46 subjects, male and female, aged between 18 and 54 who are suffering from alopecia are divided into two groups, and the shampoo containing the active ingredient of Example 5 and the control shampoo After 24 weeks of use in each test site, scalp measurements were taken before use and after 8 weeks of use, after 16 weeks of use, and after 24 weeks of use. Hair Visual Evaluation

Safety evaluation
