자동차의 파워 트레인의 하이브리드 모듈 내에서 분리형 클러치의 안전 임계 활성화의 방지 방법{METHOD FOR AVOIDING SAFETY-CRITICAL ACTIVATION OF A CLUTCH IN A HYBRID MODULE OF A DRIVETRAIN OF A MOTOR VEHICLE}
본 발명은 자동차의 파워 트레인의 하이브리드 모듈 내에서 분리형 클러치(disconnect-type clutch)의 안전 임계 활성화를 방지하기 위한 방법에 관한 것이며, 하이브리드 모듈은 내연기관과 변속기 사이에서 작용하고 전기 구동 장치와, 분리형 클러치와, 프리휠을 포함하며, 분리형 클러치는, 전기 구동 장치 또는 파워 트레인과 마찰 결합식 연결을 통해 전기 구동 장치 또는 파워 트레인으로부터 공급되는 토크의 전달을 통한 내연기관의 시동을 위해 이용되거나, 순수 전기 주행을 위해 파워 트레인으로부터 내연기관을 분리하기 위해 이용된다.
DE 10 2012 206 680 A1로부터는, 차량의 파워 트레인을 위한 하이브리드 모듈이 공지되어 있다. 하이브리드 모듈은 내연기관과 변속기 사이에 배치되고 전기 구동 장치와, 분리형 클러치와, 프리휠을 포함하며, 분리형 클러치 및 프리휠은 각각 내연기관으로부터 변속기의 방향으로 토크를 전달하기 위해 서로 평행하게 제공된다. 프리휠은 내연기관으로부터 나오는 토크를 변속기의 방향으로 전달하며, 토크가 그 반대 방향으로 향할 때에는 개방됨으로써, 차량은 선택적으로 내연기관 또는 전기 구동 장치를 통해, 또는 동시에 이들 둘의 조합을 통해 구동될 수 있다. 이 경우, 분리형 클러치는, 내연기관과 전기 구동 장치 또는 파워 트레인의 마찰 결합식 연결(frictionally locking connection)을 통해 전기 구동 장치 또는 파워 트레인으로부터 공급되는 토크를 전달함으로써 내연기관을 시동하는 과제, 또는 자동차를 순수 전기 방식으로 작동시키거나, 하이브리드 주행 모드에서 내연기관 풀 및 푸시 토크(pull and push torque)를 전달하기 위해 파워 트레인으로부터 내연기관을 분리하는 과제를 갖는다.

상기 과제는, 본 발명에 따라서, 분리형 클러치의 임계 교란 토크가, 개방된 분리형 클러치의 유지될 안전 간격(safety distance)의 설정을 위해, 자동차의 주변 조건들 및/또는 차량 한계 조건들에 따라서 설정되는 것을 통해 해결된다. 이 경우, 개방된 클러치의 안전 간격은, 분리형 클러치가 개방된 조건에서 릴리스 트래블(release travel)의 고려하에 마찰 라이닝들의 이격 간격을 의미한다. 주변 조건들이 좋지 않은 경우, 안전 간격은 상대적으로 더 낮은 허용될 교란 토크들을 통해 더 커지며, 그에 반해 주변 조건들이 더 적합한 경우 안전 간격은 상대적으로 더 높은 허용 가능한 교란 토크들에 의해 상대적으로 더 작게 설정된다. 이처럼 교란 토크와 안전 간격 사이의 간접적인 관계를 기반으로, 자동차의 주행 모드의 모든 상황에서, 최대 가능한 시스템 다이내믹 및 안전성이 보장된다. 이 경우, 자동차 시스템은 일반적으로 모든 생각해볼 수 있는 경우들을 고려하는 초과 안전 범위에서 작동되지 않아도 되지만, 그럼에도 불구하고 최대 가능한 시스템 다이내믹, 시스템 가용성 및 시스템 안전성을 제공한다.
바람직한 방식으로, 임계 교란 토크는 차량 휠들의 마찰 계수에 따라서 결정된다. 특히 비로 인해 축축한 노면의 경우, 또는 빙판의 경우, 마찰 계수는 변동되며, 그럼으로써 교란 토크는, 분리형 클러치의 안전 임계 활성화를 방지하기 위해, 상이한 마찰 계수들에 따라서 변경되는데, 그 이유는 노면 상으로 전달되는 타이어들의 힘에 차이가 나기 때문이다.
한 구현예에서, 자동차의 외부 온도의 범위에 대한 마찰 계수는 상수로서 형성된다. 따라서, 예컨대 외부 온도가 3℃ 미만(< 3℃)인 경우, 그리고 외부 온도가 3℃를 초과하는(> 3℃) 경우, 마찰 계수는 타이어들과 노면 사이의 힘 전달을 분류하기 위해 결정될 수 있다.
한 변형예에서, 임계 교란 토크는 자동차의 횡 가속도에 따라서 결정된다. 이 경우, 특히 일정한 주행 속도를 이용한 커브 주행 시, 차량 안전성을 보장하기 위해, 도로 접지력 계수, 변속비 및 주행 속도 또는 이와 관련이 있는 횡 가속도와 같은 변수들에 대한 허용 가능한 교란 토크의 의존성이 고려된다.
한 개선예에서, 사전 설정 토크에 의한 임계 교란 토크의 초과 시, 차량 안전성을 보장하기 위해, 임계 교란 토크의 감소를 위한 주행 다이내믹 조치들(driving dynamic actions)이 도입된다. 상기 주행 다이내믹 조치들은 예컨대 상위 변속단의 체결, 또는 내연기관의 시동 전에 내연기관으로부터 파워 트레인의 분리, 또는 정의되는 횡 가속도 한계의 하회 후 내연기관의 시동의 방지일 수 있다.
한 구현예에서, 주변 조건들 및/또는 차량 한계 조건들에 대한 정보들은 자동차의 통신 라인을 통해 공급된다. 그 결과, 자동차 내에 제공되어 있는 센서들로부터 공급되는 데이터는 분리형 클러치의 안전 임계 활성화의 방지를 위해서도 이용된다.
바람직한 방식으로, 개방된 분리형 클러치의 안전 간격은 클러치 특성곡선을 알고 있는 상태에서 주변 조건들 및/또는 차량 한계 조건들에 대한 정보들에 유념하여 설정된다. 클러치 특성곡선을 고려함으로써, 결함이 있는 경우 발생하는 클러치 다이내믹의 고려가 이루어지므로, 이는 설정할 안전 간격의 정밀도를 개선한다.
본 발명은 수많은 실시예를 허용한다. 상기 실시예들 중 하나는 도면에 도시된 도들에 따라서 더 상세하게 설명된다.
도 1은 하이브리드 모듈을 포함하는 자동차의 파워 트레인을 도시한 개략도이다.
도 2는 마찰 접지, 변속단 및 차량 속도의 함수로서 임계 교란 토크들의 개요를 나타낸 그래프들이다.
도 1에는, 내연기관(1)과, 내연기관(1)의 크랭크 샤프트(2)에 연결되는 진동 댐퍼(3)와, 프리휠(5) 및 분리형 클러치(6)를 구비한 하이브리드 모듈(4)과, 전기 구동 장치의 로터(7) 및 스테이터(8)와, 변속기(9)와, 차동 장치(10)와, 상세하게 도시되지 않은 휠들을 포함하는 자동차의 파워 트레인이 개략적으로 도시되어 있다. 내연기관(1)과 변속기(9) 사이에는 2개의 병렬 토크 전달 라인이 제공된다. 제1 토크 전달 라인은 분리형 클러치(6)를 포함하고, 제2 토크 전달 라인은 프리휠(5)을 포함한다. 프리휠(5)은 내연기관(1)으로부터 변속기(9) 상으로 토크를 전달하며, 토크 흐름 방향이 변속기(9)로부터 내연기관(1)으로 향하는 경우 개방된다. 변속기(9)로부터 내연기관(1)의 방향으로 향하는 토크들은 클러치가 체결된 경우에 전달될 수 있다. 이는 특히 전기 주행에서 내연기관(1)의 시동 및 완전 배터리 모드의 경우 푸시 토크의 전달에 관한 것이다. 파워 트레인의 내연기관 작동 모드에서, 분리형 클러치(6)는 체결된 상태로 유지되며, 그럼으로써 상기 분리형 클러치는 자신의 인가된 토크 전달 용량에 상응하게 내연기관(1)으로부터 전달될 수 있는 토크를 프리휠과 함께 각각 부분적으로 전달한다. 이 경우, 분리형 클러치(6)의 기능은, 상위의 차량 제어 유닛(12)과 연결되는 제어 유닛(11)을 통해 제어된다. 이 경우, 제어 유닛(11) 및 차량 제어 유닛(12)은 차량 통신 라인, 바람직하게는 CAN 버스(15)를 통해 상호 간에, 그리고 센서들(13) 및 차량 보조 시스템들(14)과 연결된다.
도 2에는, 마찰 계수, 변속단 및 차량 속도의 함수로서 임계 교란 토크들의 개요가 도시되어 있다. 도 2에서 알 수 있는 것처럼, 눈 또는 빙판 노면에서 30㎞/h 속도의 2단 변속단에서 커브를 통과할 때(마찰 계수는 μ = 0.3으로 상정) 이미 55Nm을 초과하는 교란 토크(> 55Nm)는 구동축에서 타이어들과 노면 사이에 경우에 따른 안전 임계의 접지 중단을 야기한다. 자동차의 상기 임계 상황들을 방지하기 위해, 제어 유닛(11)은, 개방된 클러치의 사전 설정된 안전 간격이 주변 조건들 또는 차량 한계 조건들에 따라서 결정되는 방식으로, 분리형 클러치(6)를 제어한다. 상기 안전 간격의 설정을 위해 임계 교란 토크(Mkrit)가 결정되며, 이는 다음과 같이 산출된다.

외부 온도가 3℃ 미만(< 3℃)이고, 그리고/또는 횡 가속도가 차량 보조 시스템(14)을 통해 측정되는 조건에서 추가로 검출되는 정보들, 예컨대 가능한 빙판 위험에 따라서, 임계 교란 토크(Mkrit)는 그에 상응하게 상기 주변 조건들 또는 차량 한계 조건들에 따라서 설정된다. 상위의 차량 제어 유닛(12)의 사전 설정된 토크 요구가 산출되는 임계 교란 토크(Mkrit)를 초과한다면, 상위의 변속단으로 시프트 업 또는 내연기관(1)으로부터 파워 트레인의 분리 또는 정의되는 횡 가속도 한계의 하회 후까지 내연기관(1)의 시동의 방지와 같은 주행 모드의 안정화를 위한 조치들이 강구된다. 그에 따라, 안전 임계의 주행 상태들은 방지된다. 동일한 방식으로, 직선 주행 시, 다시 말하면 거의 횡력이 없는 주행 시, 내연기관(1)의 시동은, 안전과 관련된 휠 슬립을 방지하기 위해 온도에 따라서 실행될 수 있다. 이런 경우, 횡력 영향이 없는 조건에서, 임계 교란 토크(Mkrit)는 마찰 계수 또는 체결된 변속단의 함수로서, 그리고 주행 속도와 거의 무관하게 수평선으로서 형성된다(도 2).
노면이 비로 인해 축축한 경우, 마찰 계수(μ)는 약 0.7로 증가되며, 이는 약 150Nm까지의 허용 가능한 교란 토크를 허용한다. 결함이 있는 경우 발생하는 클러치 다이내믹의 고려하에, 필요한 결함 공차 시간(fault tolerance time)에 따라서 개방된 분리형 클러치(6)의 필요하고 유지될 안전 간격이 정의될 수 있다. 다시 말하면, 주변 조건들이 상대적으로 더 좋지 않은 경우, 안전 간격은 상대적으로 더 낮고 허용 가능한 교란 토크들을 통해 더 커져야만 한다. 이런 사정에서, 주변 조건들에 따르고 상이한 안전 간격들이 제공되며, 이런 안전 간격들은 한편으로 시스템의 기능 안전성뿐만 아니라 가능한 가용성을 위해 이용된다. 클러치 특성곡선의 정보를 통해, 전체 시스템에 따르는 결함 공차 시간과 조합되어, 외부 온도가 3℃ 미만(< 3℃)이고, 그리고/또는 횡 가속도가 기존 운전자 보조 시스템들을 통해 측정될 때 추가의 검출된 정보들(예: 가능한 빙판 온도)에 따라서, 안전 간격이 정의될 수 있다.

Claims (7)

  1. 자동차의 파워 트레인의 하이브리드 모듈 내에서 분리형 클러치의 안전 임계 활성화를 방지하기 위한 방법으로서, 하이브리드 모듈(4)은 내연기관(1)과 변속기(9) 사이에서 작용하고 전기 구동 장치(8, 9)와, 분리형 클러치(6)와, 프리휠(5)을 포함하며, 분리형 클러치(6)는, 전기 구동 장치(8, 9) 또는 파워 트레인과 마찰 결합식 연결을 통해 전기 구동 장치(8, 9) 또는 파워 트레인으로부터 공급되는 토크의 전달을 통한 내연기관(1)의 시동을 위해 이용되거나, 순수 전기 주행을 위해 파워 트레인으로부터 내연기관(1)을 분리하기 위해 이용되는, 안전 임계 활성화의 방지 방법에 있어서,
    분리형 클러치(6)의 임계 교란 토크(Mkrit)는, 개방된 분리형 클러치(6)의 유지될 안전 간격의 설정을 위해, 자동차의 주변 조건들 및/또는 차량 한계 조건들에 따라서 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 안전 임계 활성화의 방지 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 임계 교란 토크(Mkrit)는 차량 휠들의 마찰 계수(μ)에 따라서 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 안전 임계 활성화의 방지 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 자동차의 외부 온도의 사전 설정된 범위에 대한 마찰 계수(μ)는 상수로서 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 안전 임계 활성화의 방지 방법.
  4. 제1항, 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 임계 교란 토크(Mkrit)는 자동차의 횡 가속도에 따라서 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 안전 임계 활성화의 방지 방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 사전 설정된 토크에 의한 임계 교란 토크(Mkrit)의 초과 시, 차량 안전성을 보장하기 위해, 임계 교란 토크(Mkrit)의 감소를 위한 주행 다이내믹 조치들이 도입되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 안전 임계 활성화의 방지 방법.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 주변 조건들 및/또는 차량 한계 조건들에 대한 정보들이 자동차의 통신 라인(15)을 통해 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 안전 임계 활성화의 방지 방법.
  7. 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 개방된 분리형 클러치(6)의 안전 간격은 클러치 특성곡선을 알고 있는 상태에서 주변 조건들 및/또는 차량 한계 조건들에 대한 정보들에 유념하여 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 안전 임계 활성화의 방지 방법.
