Abstract
Description
도 1은 예시적인 하이드록실화 지질인 수소화 피마자유("HCO")의 주 성분인 12-하이드록시스테아린의 화학 구조이다.
도 2는 FTIR 분광법에 의해 측정된, 50℃에서의 폴리프로필렌 내의 3개의 하이드록실화 지질(수소화 피마자유, 수소화 콩기름, 및 하이드록실화 콩기름)의 이동 속도론이다.
도 3은 사출 성형 프로세스에서 열가소성 중합체와 함께 사용될 때 피크 용융 압력에서 미치는 HCO의 영향을 도시하는 막대그래프이다.
도 4는 사출 성형 프로세스에서 열가소성 중합체와 함께 사용될 때 피크 용융 압력에서 미치는 프로세스 보조 첨가제의 영향을 도시하는 막대그래프이다.
개시된 본 발명은 다양한 형태의 실시 형태가 가능하지만, 본 개시 내용이 예시를 목적으로 하려는 것이고 본 명세서에 설명되고 예시되는 특정 실시 형태로 본 발명을 제한하려는 것은 아니라는 이해와 함께 본 발명의 특정 실시 형태가 도면에 예시된다(그리고 이후에 설명될 것이다).
Claims (15)
- 사출 성형기의 작동 방법으로서,
주형 공동을 한정하는 제1 주형 측부 및 제2 주형 측부를 갖는 사출 성형기를 제공하는 단계;
열가소성 재료를 제공하는 단계; 및
적어도 하나의 사출 성형 사이클을 통해서 상기 사출 성형기를 작동시키는 단계를 포함하고, 상기 사출 성형 사이클은:
상기 주형 공동 내로 용융된 형태의 상기 열가소성 재료를 전진시키는 단계;
상기 주형 공동을 상기 열가소성 재료로 실질적으로 충전하는 단계;
상기 열가소성 재료를 냉각하는 단계;
냉각된 열가소성 재료를 노출시키도록 상기 제1 주형 측부 및 상기 제2 주형 측부를 분리하는 단계;
상기 주형 공동으로부터 상기 냉각된 열가소성 재료를 제거하는 단계; 및
상기 제1 주형 측부 및 상기 제2 주형 측부를 폐쇄하는 단계를 포함하는 방법에 있어서,
상기 열가소성 재료를 제공하는 단계는,
(a) 열가소성 중합체; 및
(b) 중합체-하이드록실화 지질 조성물의 총 중량을 기준으로, 5 내지 50%의 하이드록실화 지질의 긴밀한 혼화물(intimate admixture)을 포함하는 중합체-하이드록실화 지질 조성물을 제공하는 단계를 포함하고;
상기 하이드록실화 지질이 상기 열가소성 중합체 내에서 10 μm 미만의 액적 크기를 갖도록 상기 하이드록실화 지질이 상기 열가소성 중합체 내에 분산되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는, 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 액적 크기는 5 μm 미만인, 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 액적 크기는 1 μm 미만인, 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 액적 크기는 500 nm 미만인, 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 열가소성 재료는 10 내지 50%의 상기 하이드록실화 지질을 포함하는, 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 하이드록실화 지질은 수소화 피마자유를 포함하는, 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 하이드록실화 지질은 하이드록실화 팜유를 포함하는, 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 하이드록실화 지질은 하이드록실화 팜핵유를 포함하는, 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 하이드록실화 지질은 하이드록실화 코코넛유를 포함하는, 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 작동시키는 단계는 10,000 psi 미만인 피크 용융 압력에서 작동시키는 단계를 포함하는, 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 작동시키는 단계는 플러스 또는 마이너스 1000 psi인 실질적으로 일정한 압력에서 작동시키는 단계를 포함하는, 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 작동시키는 단계는 피크 용융 압력의 플러스 또는 마이너스 20 퍼센트인 실질적으로 일정한 압력에서 작동시키는 단계를 포함하는, 방법.

- 제1항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 사출 성형기를 제공하는 단계는, 상기 주형 측부들 중 적어도 하나가 30 BTU/HR FT ℉ 이상인 평균 열 전도율을 갖는 사출 성형기를 제공하는 단계를 포함하는, 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 사출 성형기를 제공하는 단계는, 상기 주형 측부들 중 적어도 하나가 알루미늄, 베릴륨, 구리, 및 이들의 임의의 합금을 포함하는 군으로부터 선택되는 재료로 제조되는 사출 성형기를 제공하는 단계를 포함하는, 방법.
